Well, he doesn't have to memorize the first 550 notes; that would be pointless, as he can just read them. Memorizing the last section allows him to use a scroll speed that's more comfortable to read for the rest of the song.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but with the current engine the window doesn’t extend further than the arrow immediately before it from the early side. In general even on Stepmania/ITG you can also do stuff like that up to a certain bpm (and this might fall within that threshold regardless)
@@ValladaresFelipe Even without disabling the boys you can do it up to something like 140-150bpm but yeah for something like Avenger for sure would need to be disabled to do that.
