"Zamboanga March" is a Philippine march dedicated to the Zamboanga del Sur municipality within the Philippines.
I do not represent any of the ideologies, countries, or religions shown on this channel. The purpose of this channel and its content is to historically present the music at hand and does not show support for nor against the party on screen, rather a neutral preservation standpoint so that the music is not lost to time. Not all parties shown on Danjori are widely accepted, however, I merely upload their songs to record history, good or bad. - Hudba
Thanks for posting this!
Just some correction on the description. This song was originally titled "No Te Vayas de Zamboanga" and composed in 1898 by Juan Cuadrado Sr., a Spanish resident, in reference to Zamboanga City. While this city is geographically part of Zamboanga del Sur province, it is currently a different entity as a separate independent city (and when Cuadrado originally composed the song in 1898, the entire Zamboanga peninsula was just a single province anyway so there was no "Zamboanga del Sur" back then).
Interestingly, Zamboanga City is home to the only surviving Spanish-based creole language in the Philippines, Chavacano. Zamboanga City was a major Spanish settlement in Mindanao during the colonial period and was one of the last places to surrender to Filipino revolutionaries in 1899. That kind of explains the Spanish connection. In fact, this march has lyrics in Spanish/Chavacano. Perhaps you can post a vocal version in the future if you're interested.

Mabuhay ang Hukbong Sandatahan ng Republika ng Pilipinas!
Corrección: 《 Sandatahang Lakas》, parehong salita ang "hukbo" at "sandatahan."
Long live Republic of Philippines. From your big bro Indonesia.
Philippines got the drip more than the Americans🗿
Our armed forces in general is heavily influenced by USA. So in essence, even the uniforms are based on that worn by US Armed Forced
What do you mean? Those are literally American uniforms😂
Agree, leather sam browne belts should always be a part of the ceremonial uniforms to make it look even more sexier
@@thitisaks1709american inspired po, but ranks and insignia have american influence, general officers and enlisted ranks are similar to americans, field officers and junior officers have Philippine triangle and sun

"Tayo na kay Marcos-Lopez" jingle
As Filipino, we must proud our country within patrimony and the military that they march through their present. So in our visayas region, we respect Zamboanga.
Are those m14's or m1a's
My uncle, said they used Garands, hes a Seargent in the army. (afp)
M14s refurbished for ceremonial purposes
This is based on a song of our city called in the Chavacano language “No te vayas de Zamboanga” and there's also an American song called “The Monkeys have no tails in Zamboanga”
:)

It's the opposite. The 1965 Marcos-Lopez jingle was based on "No Te Vayas de Zamboanga" which was composed in 1898.
