I absolutely loved Sohyang's cover of this song and did it justice for sure. The fact that Sohyun was watching her sing it made it even better. Wish they showed her reaction though. The original artist always has an emotional investment in the song and it usually shows in their performances for sure. Sohyun is just amazing in any right and I'm a huge fan so win win :)

love how he doesn't overshadow her voice but accompanies it beautifully to bring out this masterpiece. it's a lyrical+melody honey to our ears and a knife to the heart. what a beautiful sister-brother talent.
It's so fascinating because the song doesn't only resonate the pain we're going through in a distant relationship but also other pain that goes without saying breaking up; a longing for that warmth from your siblings, a prayer for your lost ones, a journey for that one bestfriend that you'll never be able to contact, and all these little situations. And it's also a good sight to see Akmu sings in front of Sketchbook audience because i miss them so much.

and actually, the direct translation of the lines didn't convey the painful hesitation of the lovers.
it's more accurate to translate it to "that's when I know I cannot go on anymore. as I take step after step towards our breakup/ heartbreak, i feel like our tightly held hands are disappearing (i.e. the feel of your hand held tightly in mine is growing faint). Better than some of the biggest idols out there rn, I won’t name any names out of respect because all of them are amazing, but there is something about her voice....that is just so...so beautiful. Im here because of Junkyu, and its amazing that he can sing this with both male and female key. He even reach that F6 note of Suhyun in 4:11 ; F6 is considered to be a part of female soprano and considered as a whistle note.

Yg made sure to get akmu in their company because they know how good they ate. It’s a huge advantage for them to sign these two very talented ppl. They don’t have to worry about them at all because they produce their own songs and i love akmu’s loyalty and trust to yge for staying with them again for another contract. They said there’s no other company that fits them other than yg but it’s for a fact that Yg needs them more than they need yg. They are their own artists yg never pushed concepts for them. They could easily succeed w/o yg but they still chose to stay and i really admire that.
