In all fairness, I don’t think PewDiePie knew the whole story. He probably just was told that LizardLava sold the play button and didn’t think much of it. He probably didn’t see the explanation video since he’s been on a break.

The guy who was selling the 100M case on ebay I offered $2,500 he said he consider but a few days later he told me it had sold. To none other than this cheeky bastard. I don't know how you do it Jack but you find a way to get the awards. A real Thanos of collecting awards and YT memorabilia. To be quite honest I was very salty that I lost and to you at that. Where I got to see what I could have had displayed right in front of me. But now that I think about it, I have been a sub of yours since 500k I have got to witness you commit yourself to this hunt for 3 years. I don't know another person who I'd rather see have the award and case. I know they are in good hands. Congrats mate!

I have to agree, LizardLava could have held onto it for a bit longer. But we don't have any idea about his financial situation (As Jack had said). So it is reasonably okay. However, since the money was financial aid and not completely necessary, he could have used the play button as a last-minute gain in order to push him to the point he would have needed to buy a home for himself and his wife. But, it is his choice. (Congratulations to you Jack for receiving the play button and LizardLava for the marriage!)

To be fair, Felix gave to LizardLava because Felix thought he would appreciate it. I know that LizardLava need money, we all need money. But selling it shortly after receiving make it looks like LizardLava doesn't really care much about the play button. Felix gave him the play button because he thought LizardLava would appreciate and care about the 100M play button. And LizardLava selling it shortly after getting it doesn't really gave the impression that he cared for it.

I probably wouldn't have sold it myself but I also understand why LizardLava did it. Being able to buy a house is a huge thing especially if you just got married and want to start your life with your new spouse.
At least it's in good hands and I think it's good that now us fans also get to see it more regularly than before. It is a part of CZcams history after all and that should be viewable by as many people as possible.

I think Lizard was completely in the right in selling the play button even if it was a gift because of his financial condition. I also think it is natural for Felix to think of it as unusual since he hasn't seen Lizard's side of the story yet. So yeah, he shouldn't have kept it for a bit longer and it is completely reasonable what Lizard did and how Felix reacted. That's how I assess this atleast.

I was curious who is the person pewds play buttons ends up with. At first i was upset too lizardlava sold it but after watching a few of ur videos about the play button, I think it is on the best hand. The play button could end up in worse places but a collectors hands are the better way to go.
