Can someone explain the justification for this machine? All it does is cut hay and it’s worth close to 200k no?

Not just hay, here in Australia we swath other crops, the most common being Canola. It assists with curing and preventing harvesting losses.
Windrowing canola is big business in this country. Hay is most commonly cut with tractor and mower conditioner combinations with only big hay producers selling into the commercial hay market likely to consider a swather like these.
