Well, it's not just the trailer weight that matters. The rear of your Durango was jammed full of stuff. The rear axle load likely exceeded limits and the tongue weight plus the total load inside the Durango likely exceeded the 1200 pounds payload limit of the Durango with the 5.7 Hemi.
If you managed to get the tongue weight down to 10% of the trailer gross when you shifted the trailer contents... then that would mean 700 pounds of tongue weight leaving just 500 pounds of additional payload for you, your passengers and the other stuff inside. I suspect you had more than 500 pounds of weight inside the Durango.
Bravo for being safety minded and using an anti-sway device. But, what you really needed in this case was a load-leveling hitch that literally shifts some of the load to the front axle. It also performs anti-sway.

Watching your vid I can’t wait to get out on the road now. I’ll probably be around 5800 total pull weight so we should be good. Good video bro

    I didn't know a V8 Hemi had a" limited " badge . I don't think your Durango is a hemi. If it's a v6 you pulled way more than it's specs

How old was your SUV & how many miles on it prior to when you started this trip? Uneven wear is normal for trailer tires. It's a suspension thing. Once a year (I usually do it on my birthday) I take it into the shop & dump & pump all fluids, anything wrong on the left gets replaced on the right also, that's so things wear out evenly. The first time might be pricey, after that I get a mean average of +/- $1000.00. But after that my truck is good for 1 year. I used to do hotshot work & drive across the U.S. 4-6 times a year, coast to coast & border to border. I highly recommend that you follow the what the owner's manual says for your SUV. Do that & it'll last you 20 years. Get spare parts from a junkyard too. Stow heavy stuff near the nose of the trailer to help prevent trailer sway. Keep the shiny side up & the greasy side down, drive safe. 🤠

Would u recommend a smaller trailer if I was to do this ?

Yes anything under 5k pounds I’m sure would be just fine. Don’t have your rear sagging as much as mine not to blow those rear axles
