Try using a bgs instead of the war hammer at bandos. I was in a trio once and I wasn't hitting with the hammer at all, while my team was hitting almost every time with their bgs.

10:00 just a tip you can fully charge a DFS for about 15k or so by buying bottled dragonfire on the GE and using it on the shield :)
