What is Hoovering? Hoovering is an abuse tactic frequently used by people who struggle with narcissistic, borderline, antisocial, and histrionic personality disorders. Named after the Hoover vacuum cleaner, hoovering is basically a way of “sucking” a person back into an abusive relationship. Regardless, great song and I can relate to the victim b/c I have been there but, am ok now; learned many lessons in life as a result; & much stronger and wiser. yay :)

I believe you misunderstood the lyrics of the song. The verb used actually is "hovering", from the verb "to hover" and not "hoovering".
Why does thing remind me of Twenty One Pilots when it is so different to there music
