- Here is my fretless bass playthrough of "Zephyrous", the first single by Elder Nexus, after sitting on this video for 6 months! Elder Nexus is the rebirth of the band Proliferation, and I couldn't be more honored to be a part of it! You can find Zephyrous on bandcamp for download (eldernexus.bandcamp.com/track....
To quote founding member Brandon Iacovella:
“It’s been 5 years since Proliferation released any material; for those who have asked/expressed interest in more music, this one’s especially for you. New name, same exact story concepts, and new music. I decided to change the name of the band around 2021 after member shifts/wanting a fresh start. This still remains my first ever band from 9th grade and holds a really special place in my heart. Super stoked to be working on this again.
Our new single “ZEPHYROUS” is available via CZcams and Bandcamp. It gives a glimpse into the concepts and new world of ZEPHYR present on our second album that we’ve been working on over the past few years. Much more work to be done on that but it is happening in the background amongst other projects. Proud of what we were able to do on this single.
Joining Matt Longerbeam and myself will be my bandmate from Lunar Chamber, Thomas Campbell on bass and old friend/drum wizard Matthew Carmichael on drums. Very stoked for this lineup. Stay tuned for Friday!

Would be great if next time you removed the bass stem in the original track and just put your live playing on. Slight chorusing issues. Not saying it's badly plasyed by any means! It's just slightly conflicting notes.
I hear you, but I do not have access to the mix without the bass track, and I do not know how to remove the bass track from a fully mixed song (if that is even possible).
