Mark is one of the original food vloggers. He has been doing this a long time and he's very professional.
I'm Salvadorean 🇸🇻 and have many Filipino friends, tried Jollibee in Rome (very close to the Vatican) for the first time in my life and was suuuper delicious, very juicy chicken. I was not a fun of the spaghetti thou, too little sauce for my taste. Very easy and friendly service thou.
there was a local store named Salvadorean RM station, but sold food that were anything but Salvadorean kinda weird
@@10YearsWT-NOOBVET in The Philippines? Perhaps they were from El Salvador city near Cagayan de Oro
Im also salvadorean. Good to meet you in comment section. Im salvador pineda. Nephew of salvador panelo.
Mark is too nice and tactful on all his food critiques around the world. It’s ok if Jollibee isn’t liked at all. It’s an innate taste that most Filipinos who grew up eating it prefer. Jollibee targets Filipino consumers mainly who love it. I love Jollibee (in the Philippines, not in the US)! Glad he tried it 👏🏽
I love Jollibee we have some in Canada and the peach mango pie and banana langka pies are my favourite! Chicken is also good but I like Popeyes sauces and dips better. We also unfortunately don’t have some menu items no adobo rice or breakfast options and we don’t have the chicken pie option
Jollibee sucks! Too sweet, too salty, not delicious, not healthy, and the place is so crowded. Jollibee sucks.
Jollibee here in seattle is a hit… u see every nationality lining up for them chickens boy!!!
I died a little inside when Mark dipped the chicken into the ketchup.. the gravy was right infront of him..
I’ve heard over and over again how lovely the staff are, in every Jollibee restaurant people go to.
Fun!!
I am in Vietnam 🇻🇳 and our Vietnamese neighbor just love it. Every single day, it is packed!!! 🥰 I am so proud.
Love Mark’s honesty! And polite way of expressing his dislike for certain foods
I go to the Jollibee in California. Love their Spicy ChickenJoy, Aloha burger, Spaghetti, and Peach Mango pie. I do agree that the Spicy ChickenJoy can go up another notch. Jollibee is my favorite fast food place.
i went to manila about 15 years ago. it was easy to be there as an American, because so many people speak English. the city was also clean compared to large America cities near me. i went to Jollibee too.
Damn, either you didn't explore much or American cities can get filthier than I thought.
Speaking English? Only in Manila, try going to provinces.
Anyway, why eating all those trash?
Jollibee is more like part of our childhood. It is not only about the taste. But the feeling that you are getting rewarded when you eat Jollibee. Our parents bring us Jollibee after mass, if our report card is good....etc.
I love watching mark weins eat on his food tour...it's only a fastfood chain but I like how he appreciates the goodness of each food he was eating...I admire him as a food vlogger....
We love you Mark! We Filipino really appreciate your visit again!!
Their spaghetti is 100% formulated for kids. A major reason why I still eat that as an adult is because of nostalgia. I'm completely aware that it's really just a 4/10 product, but because it was a big part of my childhood, it's a 6/10 in my mind.
You're right, it's a 4/10. Except for the chicken, I give everything else a 0. That spaghetti is just awful
It’s not formulated for kids. It was made with banana ketchup during the tomato shortage during world war 2. So Filipino spaghetti became a naturally sweet as opposed to the more authentic Italian counterpart
I love you, Mark Wiens! Thank you for visiting the Philippines! 🇵🇭❤
i am not a filipino, but i live here for almost 3 years now. and still until now. JOLIBEE is my number 1 to go..
@@lharzb.3853 Even as an Indonesian, I sometimes struggle with spicy food. But he has the next level of spicy tolerances
So happy to see your videos in the Philippines again Mark! Amazing 🤩 and Jollibee is such a nice place to visit! Looking forward to more videos in Cebu!
I love how you show excitement in your every vlog, it's so natural, new subscriber here
I enjoyed your straight & honest comment. Keep up the good work!
Mark's spicy level is really different, really top tier. So the spicy jollibee chicken for us, is nothing for him 😅
people from thailand are different with spices, man be eating dish with over 50 chilies in one of his videos
Dude he eats chili like a snack... He even has a chili plant in his garden in Thailand where he can just grab it anytime. 😀 I've watched his vlogs and he eats spicy food a lot...
The new spicy chicken in jollibee is not spicy at all spicy chicken with the powder is much better
I’ve tried their spicy chicken twice and I agree with him,it’s not spicy at all.
Such a honest food blogger 👌👌👌
Finally! Been waiting for you to try this
Wow its an honor of us Filipinos to have you mark... Thank you so much....
Thank you for such a great video of famous fast food in the Philippines👍
I love Jollibee! thank you for featuring Jollibee, Mark Wiens.
Happy New year Mickey! thanks for all the joy you are bringing us time after time!
my heart broke every time he poured ketchup instead of the gravy over the chicken 🥲
I love their Jolly Spaghetti, chicken, mango peach pie, ube pie, palabok 💗😍
Truly Mark captures the essence of life in the Philippines. Drew's Travels also beautifully documents province food and life there.
Hey, Mark...the gravy is for the chicken and you should've tried the hot dog. It's been a while since I've been in PH...I'll be in two weeks...can hardly wait. Thanks for all the great content!
Jollibee Chicken is paired with the gravy not ketchup! 🤪love how you enjoyed Jollibee the second time around!! ❤
The super nice gravy yeah 😜 I even did not realize that he dipped it in the ketchup lol
@@chefkuyajoey Its okay no harm done! But to fully experience jolly chicken joy its really the gravy! Next time ☺️
Oo naman 😅 I like to also eat the gravy just like that on it’s own lol but just a little only lol
@@chefkuyajoey Gravy palang ulam na hehe. Jollibee in the Philippines & branches abroad are also not the same 🍗
It seems that's hot sauce, not ketchup. The color is a little lighter than ketchup.
Mark didn't give his seal of approval. I didn't see the "I'll close my eyes it's so good look" hahaha. Thank you for visiting our country
Hi Mark thanks for featuring Ph jollibee 😍 As a Filipino what i always craved about jollibee is their original flavor chicken joy without the spicy flavor with a lot of gravy sauce (not the ketchup hehe) the ketchup is actually for the french fries. And about the burger, i just love the original burger without the bacons and tomatoes.
Happy to see you again in the Philippines, sir! Merry Christmas and Happy New year!
Thanks Mark for introducing us to another fast food chain this time Filipino, Jollibee. I prefer chicken, hamburgers and beef. Pasta, there are other specialists. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.🎄🎅
Got to love the Phillipines. Everyone there is English-speaking.
Merrry Christmas Mark! Enjoy the festivities in Cebu and more food vlogs.
man! you are a amazing! thanks to provide all that kind info!!!!!
Wow Mark finally tried Jollibee! If the spicy chicken is not spicy at all then what is spicy then for Mark Wiens 😅 something NOT EDIBLE FOR US ALL! 😂😂😅 I love how respectful still he is even if the food is not of his taste. We adore you Mark!
I believe Mark is originally from Thailand, so he's pretty much used to eating foods that have a lot more spicy kick to it
What kind of tongue do you have? Jollibee spicy chicken is not even spicy at all. And their chili powder sucks big time. Improve your tongue.
When he just shakes his head that means the food is just okay! He is in heaven when he rotates his head after the first bite! 🤣
Haha yes... if there's a ho ho ho while slowly pulling his head away that indicates the food is extremely delicious for him.
Jollibee is a go to place after attending the Sunday mass that's why it's well loved by Filipinos cause it surely brings back a lot of childhood memories. I watched some of his vlogs during the lockdowns and I know his passion for savory foods especially those with fresh ingredients and slow cooked so I understand his reaction and review about fast food.
Thanks for coming to the Philippines Mark Weins. We love you!
GLAD MARK IS RETURNING BACK TO PHILIPPINES ✨✨✨
Always eat chicken joy with lots of gravy (strange what he made) , palabok with calamansi and mix, aloha yumburger, pineapple juice and mango peach pie-these are my favs
Mark, thank you for all you hard work and dedication to bring us ti all the best food places
Thanks for sharing your experience Mark. I noticed that they are starting to pop up here in LA. Fried chicken looks good. Might have to try it soon.
1) Jollibee is the pride of The Phillippines.
I have tried its food several times here in Seattle.
I like its fried chicken best, actually.
The spaghetti dish is interesting -- with ... I think added sugar.
YIkes!
The sauce is curiously red ,,, as though it is coloured by red food colouring.
2) 🎄 HAPPY holidays to you and your family (Ying & Micah, too!) Mark. 🎄
I remember a Filipino woman i worked with brought Jollibee spaghetti for a potluck and was very proud about how good it was. I had it and thought it was pretty mid and the spaghetti was way too sweet. That beef with rice looked so good here. Fried chicken looks good too. I'd want to try their chicken sandwich too.
So glad that you got to go and try Jollibee!!! I LOVE JOLLIBEE!!! Especially LOVE Jolly Spaghetti!!! Jolly Spaghetti is the traditional Filipino Spaghetti - It's really sweet in flavor :). Thank you for this video Mark!!!
I always watch your show and post it in my FB.Stay safe 😊
Wow. I'm sooo Happy you're in the Philippines Mark . Next time you will visit the Philippines please visit Bacolod City .You will be able to Taste our Famous Batchoy and Chicken Inasal.
The Philippines loves u Mark
I need to try that asap! It looks delicious!
Hi Mark! Im a fan of yours and all your vlogs is amazing. Keep safe & God bless you always. 🙏
Hi Mark! It's NOT spicy because the Chicken Joy you tried is their latest "spicy marinated" variant already available in some stores. The original spicy with chili powder is way more spicy. Considering your tolerance for really hot food, you can even request them to be spicier! You should have also ordered the PALABOK FIESTA! It's super duper good! AND gravy is perfect for the chicken and not ketchup. 😋😋😋
The old spicy chicken wasn't really spicy either.
It was good! Like really good. But not spicy.
yeah the old powdered one wasn't spicy at all. Only on the outside, since they just dust it with chili powder.
You don't know him I'm his subscriber he eat samyang noodles like it's nothing 🤣🤣
No. This new one is spicier because of the marinate. The old version was just chili powder sprinkled on top. And it was never distributed evenly.
Hi Mark! You can actually request for more spice seasonings for the Chicken Joy and it's free! 🌶️
thanks for visiting again our country mark , Im your fan here in philippines 💕
How I enjoy when you described the SPAGHETTI, “I guess the kids would love it .” I agree, it’s just extra sweet for me too. I rather have their Palabok ❤
I see Mark and Jollibee, I impulsively watch and click like.
Gotta eat like local Mike, Chickenjoy dips in its amazing GRAVY. Catsup is only for fries 🍟. Need to make up for it next time. Nice to see you back in Philippines 🇵🇭.
Mark Im so happy that you've visited here in Cebu City!!
This is an amazing video 😋😋
Mark u should try also the PALABOK in Jollibee...it's authentic Filipino Food that Jollibee serve too...😊
The chicken joy usually dip in a gravy...😊
Mark you missed the Palabok. Make sure to try it when you return. 😊
Mark you are the best!!! big fan here!
GREAT CONTENT CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU IN SOUTH AFRICA
Great review, For me when it comes to Jollibee, the best thing on the menu is chicken and gravy.
At the top is the Spicy chicken Joy - with an extra sprinkling of chili powder dipped in gravy, I could eat that every day. I'm glad you didn't order the regular chicken because is not quite as good as the spicy but it's not far off - ideal for those who do not enjoy that bit of heat.
For the spaghetti - it's a little sweet and I'm not fond of the red hotdogs but it's ok and I would gladly eat it if it was free, but I wouldn't pay for it out of my own pocket.
Peach Mango pie - It's very nice, but I wouldn't be able to eat that every day, maybe once a week. The taste is good but it's easy to get fed up with it once you eat more than 2 or 3 pieces, and I hate it when I forget that it has an extremely hot filling and burn my tongue.
Aloha burger - It's actually a nice burger but I dislike the processed cheese that's melted onto the burger patties - I always have to ask them not to add the cheese.
Palabok - huge disappointment, I would rather just go to a good panciteria and get a better version.
Fries - If you get them fresh out of the fryer, they are nice and crispy on the outside and soft in middle, if for any reason you don't get them fresh they tend to be soggy. - I just wish my local Jollibee is consistent with this.
They've started opening quite a few Jollibee locations here in California. The food is ok. I'm not sure who thought sweet spaghetti with sliced hot dogs in it was a good idea, but people seem to order it. Maybe its like Jack in the Box tacos -- they're not that great but sometimes you crave them because they're different. Happy holidays to you and yours, Mark!
Nothing wrong with JIB Tacos except that they are missing the Lettuce & Tomatoes !
@@BearStar1 Real tacos don't come with sliced American cheese like Jack tacos. If you want lettuce, order their Monster Tacos. I think they're back on the menu now. But still no tomato, which they could easily do and it would improve the product.
It’s an innate taste that most Filipinos who grew up eating it prefer. Jollibee targets Filipino consumers mainly who love it including the sweet style spaghetti with hotdogs. I love Jollibee (in the Philippines, not in the US)!
Oh no! There’s a gravy Mark for the fried chicken, I love it! 🤗😍
its a whole new level when you deep the chicken to the gravy
I am Korean and so sad we don't have Jollibee in Korea. I've been to Cebu Philippines and tried Jollibee for the first time and I just fell in love with it. I think Jollibee spicy chicken is the best fried chicken in the world
@@MaximB42 Jollibee is better taste to me. I also tried KFC gravy but it was okay I still prefer Jollibee gravy.
we feel so proud that you tried our children's most requested chicken joy!in jollibee!
Omg i loved this video pla do more FOOD VIDEOS
I can't wait to go to joilbee in the Philippines 🇵🇭 im
Hype up good video mark 😎💪
Jollibee is quite lucky to have Mark Wiens one of the famous YT food and travel vlogger making a vlog about Jollibee.
Hey Mark i saw you went to Bacolod and had a food tour content there. You should've contacted me. I could've guided you & took you to the best homegrown restaurants & cooked authentic homemade Bacolod for your show like inasal & beef Cansi Soup. Just like what we did with Luke Martin Chopstick Travel. All the best for your channel! Hope we can have a food tour soon coz i can really take you to more adventurous foodtrips here in the Philippines 🇵🇭 😁
Hi Mark! Thanks you visit Philippines. You eat the jollibee fried chicken. Their palabok is my favorite.
It's very interesting your vlogs it's nice content❤️🇵🇭
Mark, you are one famous foodie personality and well known all over. Glad you once again helped promote the popular filipino fast food. Thanks visiting Philippines, and your subscribers appreciate you sharing great reviews for Jollibee. God bless
What benefit will it do to your life if he promoted Jollibee? Exactly. Zero. So, why so excited about it?
I love Jollibee, I wish they would open a few outlets in India :)
Mark how I wish I can hug you ❤❤❤ love your videos collection over the world 🇵🇭🇲🇹
Sure that people in need will appreciate this video, It is a chance Mark is there to eat for them
Why did I knew that spicy chicken joy will not be spicy for Mark 😆 For me it's spicy enough and that is coming from me who like spicy foods but I cannot eat whole peppers like mark unless it's dynamite lumpias.
cause he's used in thai spicy level those foods are all spicy even tho it's supposed to be not spicy 😂
Wow i always watching u...thank u for visiting my country🥰🙏
Thank you for trying the famous Jollibee foods there in the Philippines.
I rather watch Mark enjoy some Thai curries,it's good to see he was honest about the stuff that didn't taste so good.
Jollichicken?Jollichickenjoy?McJollichickenjoy?Got me smiling 🤣"It's ChickenJoy" Love your videos ❤️
wow, this is so great looking at the fried chicken 😍😍😋😋
Outstanding 🔥✌️
Cool that you had Jollibee. Their chicken joy is really yum! Enjoy the rest of your stay here.
Mark, the red sauce you are pouring are for the fries, thats probably ketchup, the brown gravy is for the chicken, i really like to meet you personal because im enjoying all your videos, thank you for visiting philippines, i hope to see you soon! ill bring you to some good food and place here at laguna philippines.
Thanks for visiting cebu Mark!
Thank you for visiting the Jollibee at Raintree Mall, Mark! I frequented that particular Jollibee branch with my friends during our college days. I hope you can come back to Cebu someday. Big fan of your food vlogs!
I LOVE MARK SO MUCH AND HIS VIDEOS!!! DONT GET ME WRONG… AM I THE ONLY FILIPINO WHO’s DYING INSIDE SEEING MARK CHOOSE THE KETCHUP OVER THE GRAVY ON HIS CHICKEN?? 😂😂
regardless bruh, as a Filipino… it hurts me not seeing him dipping his chicken on his gravy 😂
@@ThePTRKWelm That gravy is really BLAND. It is OK on the potatoes but not the chicken. The hot sauce helps to cut the oil in the chicken.
Naaah man, if you ain’t a Filipino, don’t you dare say that gravy is bland coz you may haven’t tried it AT ALL 😂
Atter bare glimrende, Mark, tommelen opp og må familien Wiens kun ha lykke i livet.
Wooow!! Mark is in cebu!! 😍
Very nice video, food seems very fantastic
I wish we had it here. I know they used to have one in a mall but the mall was torn down and now sadness.
"It could be spicier" Ok lets all agree that what a regular person calls spicy and what MArk calls spicy are going to be 2 different things LOL
Love how Mark politely says something isn't so good - Class act.
It’s an innate taste that most Filipinos who grew up eating it prefer. I agree that Mark is too polite with his food critique in any of his videos. Gordon Ramsay would probably tell it like it is 😹. I love Jollibee (in the Philippines, not in the US)!
Jollibee sucks and you know it.
I doesn't like something especially when he says it's sweet.
Yup wla daw lasa jollibee sa abroad 😅
I like that too believe me but when your YT is specifically reviewing food you should be honest lol I know Mark likes the food when his head tilts sideways 😂 if it's just a ummm and not much head movement then the food must have been mediocre 😂
