One thing that I noticed is your english got so much smoother, congrats for that ! I know you're not from an english speaking country and in fact it didn't prevent me from watching your videos, but I just wanted to point that out in case no one told you yet ! Keep up the good work !
@@ANDBERY If you’re from Russia, although they teach English in school there, your English is excellent and far above the level they teach and practice in Russia. I too notice a difference if I compare it to videos I watched years ago, but I assumed you were from a country where English is more integrated than it is in Russia.
Hey buddy, I just wanted to reach out and say this video actually is really educational. Not just another “look make things cinematic and dynamic” with a gimbal. It shows you considered what this tool could allow you to do, being aware that some shots would probably be executed better with a dedicated tool - dolly, slider etc. I wish more filmmakers here on CZcams would take such an approach. Lastly, in regards to your first shot where you sue the gimbal for a slide in: I can see how you struggle with the old arch enemy the Z axis bounce (especially on uneven ground and slow movements). Apart from the classic (Easyrig with Serene arm, etc) suggestions I have one more that doesn't require any additional gear: If possible hold the gimbal with the handle towards you, that way the tilt axis is able to counter some of your up and down bounce. It’s not going to be perfect but for small movements in your arms this will make a big difference :)
Thank you my friend, I don't think I will ever pick up a gimbal again, it's not for me. But if I have to, I'll use a gyroscooter to avoid this walking bounce.
I love using a gimbal but even with my FX3 it requires a lot of strength and practice. I mostly do one shot music performance videos. So this means ~4 minutes choreographies in which you wanna keep bringing nice compositions while constantly moving. What's really demanding is that you don't wanna feel the gimbal in the image, just a camera floating in the air. That's the hardest part. The gimbal lets you move in between people/musicians in tight places and at heights a steadycam would not be able. Anyway great video! Shots are amazing.
I always can say when gimbal is in use. This kind of mechanical micro-movements. I really don't like it. It kills the shot and emotions. I prefer slider or glidecam much.
Loads of inspiration as usual, and nice color grading as well! Did you use a belt support for the gimbal? If so, could I ask what brand/model? Cheers, Eivind
Адаптер на vmount потому что не было оригинального в ред DC кабеля или он упирался в стабилизатор? 🤔 и все же у реда очень пластичное изображение. Жемени второе место после мистериум-х сенсора 🥰

The Master has returned! Many thanks, Brother. Happy Holidays and New Year, everyone

He definitely is from a English speaking country. Maybe you mean that he’s not from a country where English is their main language?
I might be wrong but isn't he from Ukraine?@@whengrapespop5728
@@whengrapespop5728 I was born in Russia. Currently, I'm living in Georgia.

I dream of taking this guy’s classes physically or online 😢😢😢😢😢
All I got is a tripod and slider, but this was still an educational watch. Thanks Andbery.
Great video, nice framing and operating....well explained. Great wrok as always
Great video! I really like the color grading in the test video! Just great! 😃😃
Thanks :)
Nice video. The scene where the guy cross infront of the camera... invisible cut can be apply perfectly if the actors need another takes
Absolutely beautiful guys🎉
excellent video
Great!

Me too, I hate gimbals
Gimbals require a lot of strength so they can be used efficiently.
Your composition is in INSANE! How do you come up or get your inspiration?
Thanks! Just watched a lot of movies and captured reference shots.
Looks great! - do you remember what stop you kept your lenses at during the day exterior scenes?
I used vario ND + 2 Stops, 2.8 - Aperture

Lindo aspecto de vídeo

Thanks, it was just a bumbag, I didn't remember brand :)
Sorry if I may ask, how do you power the camera with the gimbal cause I noticed their is no battery attached to the battery pack
❤
Did you use AI to enhance your English? That's how it sounded to me. It's amazing :)
Yep, I used some AI helpers to improve my English.
How u powered the red?
Do you think red gemini is better than red komodo in terms of colors and DR?
Both cameras are great, really

Жеюн очень слаб для такой камеры, мы максимально облегчили Ред, повесив Vmount на пояс. Да, он бы упирался.

Is it safe to use the Red Gemini camera in freezing temperatures?
Not safe, below zero or less, we were shooting in +3 degrees Celsius.
How are you powering the Gemini?
V-mount on the belt
@@ANDBERY I tried that with my dragon but the cable got in the way :(
Who holds a cigarette like that??? 👀👀
😂 thought the same
these camera movements were unnecessary . handheld/rig camera could do the same and in more dramatic way
