True, but why wouldn't we want to remember a day the Father said to remember because He set it apart and made it Holy? Or remember God's feast that are all about Jesus and His return? We have no problem with Christmas and easter that is not biblical, but issues with things that the Father said are appointed times set aside for His children. It doesn't make sense to me why we wouldn't want to especially knowing Jesus did, Paul and the disciples did. We will in the New millennium why wouldn't we want to now when it's all about the Father and His son?

So, are you not getting the Passover, Communion and Easter all mixed up? As for your quote I believe you are getting it from Luke 22:19, but then how do you explain verses 15 and 16? Will we be killing a lamb in heaven to have the Passover supper? Because in Exodus 12:3-11 they kill a lamb and eat it. Also, the Passover could not be Easter because Christ has not yet died for our sins. So, it would have to be a new festival not associated with the Jewish religion, would it not. So I would say as Christians we do not have to keep the old festivals and feasts according to the Jewish religion.

I whole heartedly believe that if any non biased party reads the bible cover to cover.. they will not observe Sunday (or any day) over the sabbath. The sabbath was blessed and sanctified before sin existed. (Genesis 2:2-3) Where in the bible does it say that this day is no longer holy?
My challenge to everyone reading is to study the word for yourself.

Your rationalizations regarding the Sabbath doctrine came from the false prophetess, EGW and heavy mind manipulation tactic. It's not going to be easy to get out of it especially if you have low critical thinking skill. Don't confuse the guidance of the Holy Spirit with ignorance. Read the arguments against EGW and you will discover that she is the main reason why the whole church is confused about the Scripture.

Let's first take a look at the apostle Paul's words in Colossians 2:14-17: "Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. ... So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ."
When some read about the sabbath days that were shadows and that passed away at the cross, they think that Paul was referring to the weekly Sabbath, the fourth of the Ten Commandments. Is this accurate? It's important to get this right, because our interpretation of the apostle's actual meaning can lead us into deeper truth or into deeper error.
    Two Sabbaths
First, there is nothing in the Ten Commandment law about food, drink, festivals, new moons, or sabbath days (plural). All these were actually separate laws that God gave for the physical and spiritual health of His Old Testament people; these were called ceremonial laws.
Second, Paul wrote plainly that he was speaking of "sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come," and not of the weekly Sabbath, which is a memorial of something that happened in the past, at the creation. The contrast between a shadow and a memorial is quite clear. Indeed, the fourth commandment does not tell us to keep the seventh day as a type of something to come. It says: "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. ... For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it" (Exodus 20:8, 11).
Moreover, to show that he had something other than the weekly Sabbath in mind, Paul distinctly mentioned "sabbaths," plural," which are a shadow of things to come." (The word "sabbath" in the Greek can be singular or plural according to Strong's and Greek lexicons.)
    Festivals and Shadows
The King James uses the word "holyday," and some will contend that it refers to the weekly Sabbath, while the expression "sabbath days" refers to yearly sabbaths. The American Standard Version uses "feast day" instead of "holyday," and this likely a clearer translation. The word translated "holyday" is from the Greek heorte, and in John 5:1, this same word is used to designate one of the yearly festivals of the Jews: "After this there was a feast [heorte] of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem." This is one of the holy days that Paul spoke of as having been nailed to the cross.
The "shadows" Paul mentions pointed to Jesus as a Savior from sin and were observed with that in mind. But the weekly Sabbath was made for man before sin entered into the world, before man would need atonement. The shadows pointing forward to His death as an atonement for sin certainly were not instituted until after sin. Therefore, since the weekly Sabbath was instituted before sin, just as was the marriage institution, it was not a shadow of Christ's death as a Savior from sin; and His death did not end the Sabbath day any more than it brought marriage to an end. Both the Sabbath and marriage came to us in a perfect world.
Paul's language shows he was referencing the shadowy ceremonies that pointed forward to and ended at the cross. Notice again, carefully, his words in Colossians 2:14: "Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross." Paul mentions that these laws were "against us" and "contrary" to us. Would it be contrary to Christians to refrain from idolatry, using God's name in vain, dishonoring parents, murder, theft, adultery, lying, and coveting - the sins rebuked by the Ten Commandments? Thus, the apostle must have been talking of another law - a law that enjoined food offerings, drink offerings, the observance of festivals, new moons, and yearly sabbaths

Dr. Brown mentioned about Exodus 16, when the Israelites were first given manna. The asked as it was falling down “What is it”, which is what the word manna literally meant. They were not asking about the Sabbath observance, but about the manna that was falling down.
Also, we read in Genesis 26:5 that Abraham kept God’s commandments and laws. It’s implies there that he kept all the commandments although they were not codified yet until Mt. Sinai. God told Cain about sin, so there must already be oral law at that time. Joseph knew committing adultery was a sin. Obviously, The commandments were already known even before they were officially given at Mt. Sinai.

When it comes to Abraham, he a Israelite or Gentile? We know that he was a gentile, therefore read Romans 2:14. Gentiles having the requirements of the LAW written in there hearts though not having the LAW? So would you say that Paul is wrong? no way.
Galatians 3:19 tells us that the Law was given because of violation or transgression and i know that your gonna ask "well what was in place in order for them to violate? God's command. ( no that was not a typo) God's command, instructions. Like when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden. What commandment did they break? Can't and is not the 10, why? Very simple, read the 1st 2 verses of chapter 20 and ask yourself, "who is God speaking to" then read them all and tell me which one they broke...NONE, because they were not there but ill tell you what was there, a COMMAND from GOD as to what not to do...Be Blessed.

What about the other commandments that prohibits lying, adultery, and killing? Do those imply that heaven is filled with those things? If so were the angels marrying and committing adultery and lying and killing? Taking the adultery commandment do you see that it does not stop you from marrying more than one wife. It simply tells you not to commit adultery. There's more that could be said but I will stop.

THERE ARE 2 LAWS. ONE LAW IS DEAD (the 613 Mosaic Laws) & ONE LAW IS ETERNAL... THE HOLY & PERFECT 10 COMMANDMENTS! See what Paul says about the Holy & Perfect 10 COMMANDS: Romans 2:13 For not the HEARERS OF THE LAW ARE JUST in the sight of GOD, but the DOERS OF THE LAW WILL BE JUSTIFIED.
THERE ARE TWO TOTALLY SEPARATE LAWS: MOSES WROTE ONE IN A BOOK that included 613 Laws & Ordinances: Deuteronomy 31:24 “So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished.” >>>>> AND YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER WROTE HIS PERFECT, HOLY & ETERNAL LAWS, IN STONE: THE ONLY SCRIPTURE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE THAT’S LITERALLY WRITTEN BY YHWH: Exodus 31:18 “And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, WRITTEN WITH THE FINGER OF GOD.”
JAMES 2:10-11 For WHOEVER shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For He who said, “Do not commit ADULTERY,” also said, “Do not MURDER.” Now if you do not commit ADULTERY, but you do MURDER, YOU HAVE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF THE LAW.
MATTHEW 5:19: WHOEVER therefore BREAKS ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE COMMANDMENTS, and TEACHES men so, shall be called LEAST in the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
MARK 7:6-9 "He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you HYPOCRITES, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 7 And in vain they worship Me, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN.’ 8 For LAYING ASIDE THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD, you hold the TRADITION OF MEN........”9 He said to them, “All too well YOU REJECT THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD, that you may keep your TRADITION.
MATTHEW 19-16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, WHAT GOOD THING SHALL I DO THAT I MAY HAVE ETERNAL LIFE?” 17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. BUT IF YOU WANT TO ENTER INTO LIFE, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.”
1 JOHN 2:3-7 3 NOW BY THIS WE KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM, IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and DOES NOT KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, IS A LIAR, and the truth is not in him. 5 BUT WHOEVER KEEPS HIS WORD, TRULY THE LOVE OF GOD IS PERFECTED IN HIM. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 7 Brethren, I WRITE NO NEW COMMANDMENT TO YOU, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.
1 JOHN 5:3 FOR THIS IS THE LOVE OF GOD, THAT WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. And His commandments are not burdensome.
1 JOHN 3:22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
REVELATION 22:14 NKJV BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
MATTHEW 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not PROPHESIED IN YOUR NAME, CAST OUT DEMONS IN YOUR NAME, and done MANY WONDERS IN YOUR NAME?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU; depart from Me, you who PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS!’
EXODUS 20:8-11 8 “REMEMBER the Sabbath day, to KEEP IT HOLY. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD YOUR GOD. In it you shall DO NO WORK: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. One comment when you looked at the Corinthians passage talking about the gathering of an a financial offering the first day of the week, another consideration is that they were doing it then because they were all observing the Sabbath and exchanging money/financial dealings would be forbidden. Thoughts?
      Absolutely!!
Corinthians 11:20-22). Paul insisted this gift for their brothers and sisters in Jerusalem should come from all of them together.
What was happening in Jurasalem??? A FAMINE!!! Paul was in a hurry to get the money to them to help feed the poor that had NO money to buy food!!!
READ THE WHOLE STORY--ANd NOT take verses OUT of context.
Finally, Paul tells the Corinthians to set aside the money week by week so that no collecting will need to be done when he arrives to organize the delivery of the gift. He does not explain why, but Paul likely wanted to avoid the awkwardness of demanding that the Corinthians come up with some money on the spot when he came and to encourage them to develop the habit of setting aside for the needs of others as a regular practice.

I respect both sides, like Dr. Brown. If you want to keep Shabbat keep Shabbat on Saturday. But it is not mandatory for Gentiles to keep Shabbat nor should you be "compelled" to keep Shabbat. We have liberty and diversity on which day. It's the same argument that usually comes up for Gentiles celebrating Christmas or having trees(Though don't bow down to trees) at Christmas. These are all "disputable matters". I understand both points as a Gentile myself. I have also been apart of a messianic congregation but am like Dr. Brown (A Charismatic) before which keep shabbat but I believe you can celebrate on any day. Each person should be convinced in their own minds about these matters but don't force another to be obligated to hold to your day. I now go Sunday again but will go on Saturday as well. It's a freedom in Messiah Yeshua. What happens is it often ends up trying to exclude people and saying "were right and your wrong". Its not done by the Spirit of the Most High (it causes division which the Holy Spirit hates), or correct me if I'm wrong but can becomes a "self-righteousness" that starts to take away from the grace of Yeshua. We are saved by grace and not by works lest any man should boast. We need to respect each other in these matters. There are dogmatic beliefs such as the Trinity and Salvation but there are also "disputable matters". Read the pastoral epistles as well. Love Sabbatarians and also love Sunday-Keepers as well as well as Everyday Keepers. Bless you all in Messiah Yeshua.

So weird that this is debated, Sabbath is from the beginning of time and in the new Millennium, but it's not important to keep the one day the Father said He set apart and made Holy? I have not watched yet - but the idea of Sabbath comes before the Law, is much more than a command and is actually both real and yet to be revealed in a more real way that is not here yet. Jesus is our rest (spiritual rest), but a once a week day to enjoy God and creation is worth incorporating into our lives.

    1) Early Christians worshiped on Sundays.
In the Holy Bible, we read that the disciples of Jesus were plucking heads of grain and eating them on the Sabbath when such was forbidden under Jewish law. [Mt. 12:1-8; Mk. 2:24-26; Lk. 6:1-5] “Now that day was a Sabbath. So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, ‘It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.’ But he answered them, ‘The man who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your matt and walk.’” [John 5:10-11]
From the above passages, we see that Jesus did not set strict restrictions regarding the Sabbath. In fact, Jesus proclaimed Himself as the Lord of the Sabbath. “Then He (Jesus) said to them, ‘The Son of Man (Jesus) is lord of the Sabbath.” [Lk. 6:5] Therefore, it is up to Jesus to determine what can and what cannot be done on the Sabbath.
Elsewhere in the Holy Bible, we read that Saint Paul informed the Colossians that they should not be disturbed by those who condemn them for observing the Sabbath. “Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink, or of observing festivals, new moons, or Sabbaths.” [Colossians 2:16-17]
Why did he inform the Colossians not to be disturbed because of their worship on Sundays? It is because from the early days of the Church, Christian worship took place on Sundays, not on Saturday. This was implemented to recognize who the Christians were. The Jewish people worshiped on the Sabbath in the Synagogues. The Christians worshiped on Sundays in their homes, in the catacombs, any place that was convenient and safe.
    2) The Catholic Church possesses the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus said to Peter, “I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.” [Matthew 16:19] Jesus gave Peter the authority to change the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday. And Peter, having been with Jesus during His ministry, and having seen the actions of Jesus on the Sabbath, did use that authority under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
    3) The Resurrection was on a Sunday. ............. Matthew 28 etc

Dr. Brown, Thank you, I have really enjoyed your video quite nicely stated and have a few questions, please read on. As stated in a comment by another in this string Yeshua said "The Shabbat was created for man, not man for the Shabbat." Yeshua who clearly lead by examples in latitude of divine work on the Shabbat by picking corn and also healing, but why didn't He call Himself Lord of the first day of the week, or Lord of Sunday? Yeshua is Hashem in the flesh, He clearly states that in this verse "Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?" so in this Yeshua is saying He is Hashem. And if apostle Paul said in Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." shouldn't the Greeks follow the lead of the Jews who are first in this divine order referenced by the Holy Scriptures? And if the Gentile Church is grafted in and Yeshua being Lord of the Shabbat, the Son of Hashem, a Jew and one day returning again as a Jew, shouldn't the Shabbat be revered for who is the Lord of it? What changed with Yeshua's coming was/is by His blood atonement for our remission of sins and not the blood of bulls or goats through the high priest, that seems so straight forward. Yes, it's a relationship written on the fleshy tablets of the heart in love lived out in Yeshua, not just by Mosaic law. The Gentiles can choose to eat forbidden foods, not honor certain feasts but the Shabbat, the 4th commandment of 10 is to be revered forever so the Messianic Jews honor it, Yeshua of course did who is perfect in all things. If you throw the 4th commandment out then what about the other 9, toss them too? All 10 in, or all 10 out?! Hashem, the Alpha and Omega who knows the end from the beginning wrote them by His own finger and so many like to post the Ten Commandments in institutions, in their churches, in their homes and more, but do they live by all of them? If the Lord did not create the earth, we would not be here and no earth for Yeshua to come for our salvation, why so important to honor the Lord of the Shabbat and that extremely special day of rest. This is a serious issue and my takes, please comment back, I would love to hear your thoughts on this is and will be checking for a response. David

Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

@John Tinkle BIBLICAL PROOF THAT OUR SAVIOR ROSE FROM THE DEAD ON THE SABBATH DAY... NOT SUNDAY!!! (Please read, Dear Christians & Catholics!)
Use an online Thayer’s Lexicon to discover that each time the Bible mentions the Resurrection Day of the Savior in the ORIGINAL GREEK LANGUAGE that it was written in, it NEVER SAID KYRIAKE (Sunday). It said SABBATON (Strong’s # G4521). SABBATON is translated 59 times as SABBATH AND OR SABBATH DAY in the New Testament! But the Roman Church and later translations, intentionally mistranslated Sabbaton as "FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK" to support a "Sunday as Sacred" narrative. Of course, the Church was too high and mighty to be bothered with the Jewish practice of Sabbath Keeping. And the only way to pretend to justify Sunday as sacred, was to pretend that Christ rose on that day. This is why you can’t get 3 days & 3 nights from Good Friday to Easter Sunday morning. IMPOSSIBLE! (Matthew 12:40)
These are the Resurrection Scriptures: Matthew 28:1. Mark 16:1-2. Luke 24:1. John 20:1. You’ll see in any Lexicon, which breaks down each word in the Bible and provides the ORIGINAL GREEK WORD, that SABBATON IS USED EVERY TIME AS THE DAY CHRIST ROSE FROM THE DEAD!! And also note, that SABBATON is also at times used twice in the same verse… BECAUSE THERE WERE 2 SABBATHS THE WEEK YESHUA WAS CRUCIFIED.
The first Sabbath was the Ceremonial Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This is the HIGH DAY SABBATH that forced the Jews to beg Pilate to remove Christ from the cross, before that Sabbath began at sunset. (JOHN 19:31 & LEVITICUS 23) Christianity pretends it was a Friday. But the Bible contradicts this common error. Because Christ said He would be in the grave, not just 3 days, but 3 NIGHTS, TOO. (Matthew 12:40). And there is no way in Heaven you can get 3 days & nights from a Friday afternoon Crucifixion to an early Sunday morning Resurrection. But the status quo religions have relied on the laziness of their followers to never research this simple and important TRUTH! I mean no offense.
This mistranslation heresy also continues in the Book of Acts and 1 Corinthians. In the Greek language of the New Testament, SABBATON (Strong’s # G4521) was also mistranslated in two Scriptures that Churches erroneously use to validate their "Sunday as Sacred heresy." Acts 20:7 & 1 Corinthians 16:1-2. The same blasphemy they performed to the Resurrection Scriptures, they repeat here. They intentionally MISTRANSLATE the Greek word “SABBATON” to “WEEK.” and added “First Day” in front of it. And just like magic… SUNDAY!
Believe me, the Sun-worshiping Emperor, Constantine the Great, was behind this bait & switch deception. In 321 AD he imposed his infamous SUNDAY LAW which made it illegal to have shops and places of business open on the DAY OF THE SUN. In exchange for the compliance of the “Christian” religion to honor the “Venerable Day” of his Sun god (Sol Invictus) , he stopped the persecution of Christianity (EDICT OF MILAN, 313 AD) and even professed to be Christian Himself. He claimed he had a dream that told him to conquer BY THE SIGN OF THE CROSS. Sure… slaughter and conquer all in the name of the Savior! THIS SOUNDS NOTHING LIKE THE CHRIST OF THE HOLY BIBLE!
Finally, in 364 AD, at the Council of Laodicea (CANON 29), the Roman Church (which would later become the Catholic Church) put the finishing touches on this unholy travesty. They perpetrated the worst offense of all… THEY LITERALLY MADE IT ILLEGAL TO OBEY THE HOLY 4th COMMANDMENT! And added a curse upon you, if you did! Without any Biblical authority, they attempted to transfer the SACREDNESS OF THE HOLY 7th DAY SABBATH… TO SUNDAY, THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK! And this heretical and blasphemous act has been the status quo, for both Catholics & Christians ever since.
1700 YEARS OF MAN-MADE, COMMANDMENT BREAKING DOGMA!
Feel free to use BLUE LETTER BIBLE .org to access an excellent online Bible Lexicon & Concordance, that provides the original words used in the Holy Scriptures. This simple but pertinent research will reveal the damnable acts of institutions that we've trusted our entire lives!

I was hoping to see Acts 13:42-44 addressed. These are Gentile non-Jews eager to hear more, and from what Paul had been preaching, the Gentiles understood that they needed to wait another 7 days to hear him preach again. But instead of telling the Gentiles that they could come tomorrow on Sunday the new day of worship, Paul preached the following 7th day Sabbath.
As for 1 Cor 16, it can just as easily be argued as evidence against the 1st day being a day of rest, with the collection being for the victims of the famine mentioned in Acts 11:28-30. So the collection would be sending them food, not coins. He said set 'money' aside, but his translation says 'something'. In KJV it has 'lay by him in store', which makes more sense as doing work on the 1st day gathering the donated food into storage, at the first opportunity for doing work after being asked to do this on the Sabbath, so that they would not be doing the work when they later assembled with Paul on the Sabbath.
As for the claim that observing New Moons should go hand in glove with keeping the Sabbath, I find numerous examples of observing the New Moons in the Old Testament, but unlike the weekly and annual Sabbaths, I find no Old Testament command for the Israelites to keep the New Moons. The 1st mention of it is something being done in 1 Samuel while Saul is king.

I always think in terms that the ritual represents to God, something far more important and meaningful than what we attach to it religiously. Of course what means the most to the Father? His Son of course.
So the question isn’t that God rested, but why He rested. Obviously God doesn’t “need” rest, but He did because it represents His Son, and what he would do for us, what he did for us. Therefore why lower the bar and practice the “rest” religiously for one day a week? Let your rest be the model of your life, resting in what Jesus provided. I think we always know the reality or meaning of the ritual means more than the ritual itself. Sure, Reverence a day if you wish for remembrance, but live what the Son provided for you.

What is one commandment most Christians do away with
There's 2 types of sabbaths remember
Hence why the high sabbaths were alongside the seventh day Sabbath
Like the ordinances or the foreshadows were beside the internal commandments whi h should be written in the heart of a believer

Dr. Brown; I listened to your entire podcast teaching on the sabbath. I was disappointed that you didn't bring up Heb. 3:7-4:11, which talks at length about why it is important for all believers on this side of the cross to keep the seventh day weekly sabbath. The promise of entering into His rest still remains.
    ● Heb. 4:1, "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (KJV).
4:8, "For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day." (CSB).
NOTE: If Joshua was able to give a complete and final rest in Canaan, God would have not have spoken of another perfect and eternal rest in Christ.
4:9, "Therefore, a Sabbath rest remains for God’s people." (CSB)
NOTE: The 7th day sabbath observance remains as a foreshadow of a greater and more complete rest to come.
4:10, "For the person who has entered his rest has rested from his own works, just as God did from his." (CSB).
NOTE: God is our example for keeping the sabbath and not the law. For the law has been abolished in the flesh of Christ (Eph.2:15).
4:11, "Let us, then, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall into the same pattern of disobedience." (CSB; ref. Heb.3:17-19).
This passage lays out a strong case, and a New Covenant commandment for keeping the 7th day sabbath of rest and worship. Please reconsider your position in light of this passage if you will.
Thank you, and God bless you my Bro. in Christ.

If one is going to make the arguement that the 7th Day Sabbath was given to the Jewish people only, then logically you would have to say this applies to the entire Decalogue. However, God gave humanity 10 Moral, "forever" Laws, not 9. The 7th Day Sabbath is part of the 10 Moral Laws & cannot be seperated as a law which only applies to Jewish people. Also in Mark 2.27 Jesus said, The Sabbath was made for "MAN, not "MAN" for the Sabbath. "MAN" means "MANKIND", the whole Human race. "MAN" cannot possibly mean, the Jewish people only.

    A) You never brought up, that if they keep His Torah, they Israel will bee His Treasured Possession.
    B) 12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law,
and as many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in the sight of God,
but the doers of the law will be declared righteous.

How important is it to be one who is listed in the 2nd half of these 2 verses, I don't want to be one in the 1st part, how about you???
    C) Is there any place in scripture where Israel is told to do as the "nations"? NO!
Does the scripture NOT to do as the "nations" do!!!
    D) The "Gentiles" in Acts 15, are the 10 tribes that were scattered.
    E) The dividing wall is between Judah and Israel!!!
F)The "church's" Passion week, does not fit scripture, no resurrection on Sunday, but The Triumphant Entry was on a 7th day Sabbath ( Nisan 10, when they chose their Passover lamb), Passover was on a Wednesday ( the 14th of Nisan)Resurrection was on a 7th day Sabbath, BEFORE the start of a new day!!!
Passion week does not fit, if the 10th was on a Sunday, that would put good Friday on the 15th, that is a Holy Day, cannot happen, it is impossible to get the "sign of Jonah from Friday evening to before sunrise on Easter Sunday!!
    G) How Creation and man's time on earth mirror each other, 6 days, vs 6000 years , 7th day is Sabbath, 7000 years is the 1000 years of Yahusha's reign!
    H) How love thy neighbor , is in Deuteronomy, the 1st great commandment is love YHWH above all things and the 2nd, love your neighbor as your self, ALL OTHER COMMANDMENT HAG ON THESE!!!!!
    I) How about only Israel and Judah ONLY being in the New Covenant, which BTW has not happened yet!!!
Are we ever told all the "nations" are in the covenant???
    J) Can you tell me, where the scriptures tell us, the earth moves around the sun??? I thought we were told the sun stood still!!!!
    K) How about how the KJV added the "day" in the 1st day of the week!!! This only appears between Passover and Pentecost, right, should read "one of the Sabbath weeks", right, Dr. Brown!!!!
I am sure I could go on, but you get the point!!!

As an ex-Seventh Day Adventist, I really appreciate this video. It's been a long time ago since God set me free from the deception, but I know there are so many who are still caught up in it, or are lured by this doctrine. I may say, without an exaggeration that when I heard an in-depth teaching about why we don't need to observe the Sabbath commandment as Christians, it was as if a veil was lifted from my eyes, and I could see the beauty of what Jesus did for me on the cross for the first time. As of now, I have chosen from my free will to rest on Saturday, but this can change to Sunday, depending on my program as a free-lancer. Really, keeping the Sabath on a Saturday when this is the only day of the week when you can work, doesn't make much sense to me. Then choosing not to work is rather a sacrifice and not a blessing. And I made this sacrifice many times, and God was showing me that He didn't ask of me this sacrifice, but I could not understand it at the time. Until one day when I heard the truth from God's Word and the Spirit of truth set me free.

If you left the SDAChurch because of their salvation issue I agree, the Sabbath doesn’t saves only Jesus does but there are worst doctrines in that denomination than the Sabbath added for salvation. The Sabbath as the true day for rest mandate by God commandment, is Saturday, to be enjoyed resting physically and spiritually remembering God’s creation and Jesus redemption. To bad that you think it is inconvenient to not works on Saturday, but many Sunday keeping people would trade with you happily! Do obeying the other commandments seems also inconvenient for you? Didn’t Jesus die for your sins? Was that convenient for Him? Please, be relieved to be out of the church but be grateful that God’s commandments keep you safe and healthy.

@@olgaburgos7780 I wonder why there is so much condemnation in your comment. I think you have totally misunderstood mine and jumped into conclusions. But to answer your question from a theological point of view, if you haven't heard it in the video, keeping the Jewish sabbath (Saturday) was never mentioned together with the other commаndments by Jesus. It should mean something, right? In fact, the only thing the New Testament says about it is that Jesus is our Sabbath. That doesn't mean, howerver, that there isn't a blessing or wisdom of resting once a week. It just means that it is not a sin not to do it. The Sabbath was given to the Jews as a sign bethween them and God:
‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you'. Ex.31:13
Please consider also Colossians 2:16, 17
'Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.'
A lot more could be said, but I am not here to lead theological debates. Here is a moe in depth teaching about the Sabbath if you or anyone reading the commments is interested: czcams.com/video/w0L3rSSL_H8/video.html
I would also challange you to consider one more thing. If the Jewish sabbath (Saturday) was an universal law and it starts at sunset on Friday evening, what should people living in Scandinavia do during the summer? I guess you are aware that in many places the sun doesn't go down at all. Should we follow the Jewish sun down then? It may be possible today because of technology, but what about during the time of Jesus? As I said, I don't want to go into debates here, but I hope you can reconsider your position and not the least your attitude. Shalom!

Further, every instance of the Bible where God Sanctifies something, it is a command - Jesus said the Sabbath was made for Man. It's pretty clear that Sabbath keeping is expected.

Where I think you under emphasize the value and importance of the Sabbath, while not being commanded, Jesus was very clear in the context of judging people around the Sabbath it was not so much keeping or not keeping of the sabbath but how one kept the Sabbath that Jesus directed his comments about judging others. Like in regards to picking grain and helping out of a ditch and healing, etc. In addition the most explicit part was Jesus statement that The Sabbath was created for man. Most people focus on man was not created for the Sabbath and completely missed the part that Jesus stated unequivocally that the Sabbath was created for man. Did Jesus say the Sabbath was created for Israel? Of course not. If the Sabbath was created for us how can we ignore it. Of course it should not be under compulsion or judgment, etc. this is an example of we “get to”, not we “have to” etc.

You may block me from your comments for daring to question your take on this teaching? But let me see if I understand your video? As a gentile, unless Jesus/ Yahushua taught something in specific that came out of the TaNaK/ Old Testament? Then it does not apply to us? And therefore we do not fall short of the mark/ sin ? Even though it may contradict the commands of the Almighty’s instructions that He gave to the ‘mixed’ multitude through Moshe/ Moses at Mount Sinai? Which included the gentiles who then excepted the Ten Word’s/ Ten Commandments, 613 commands/ Torah? Thus they were then grafted into the 12 tribes of Yisra’el, as a Nation of priests? How can this be? The Messiah was the Word of Elohim, made flesh? And only said those things that He heard the Father saying. And only did those things that He saw the Father doing. It is true that in Matthew 5:17-20 that the Messiah declared that not word nor least stroke of the pen would pass away from the word of the Father until all was accomplished? And that said, not all of the prophets words nor all of Matthew Chapter 24, or Revelation’s has yet been fulfilled? So I ask, how could this be that we gentiles are allowed to walk out the Torah in a state of lawlessness? As I can’t rap my head around your reasoning on this? In Colossians, I found that one must needs to read the entire 2nd Chapter to truly grasp this teaching? Paul is taking about the taught ones of the Sanhedrin/ Pharisees, Sadducees, and Scribes, teaching the dogma’s, and traditions of men? Those things that morphed into what later became the Jerusalem & Babylonian Talmud, Mishnah, Zohar, Takanot, Kabala, etc… and it was these that Paul was inferring to? In regards to paying no heed to new moons, sabbath’s, festival’s, diet, etc… And it was these that the Messiah nailed to the stake/ cross! This I know. If any teaching is contrary to the word of the Father? Who’s Word stands firm in the heavens, and on earth, forever and ever! Then are we not warned, have nothing to do with evil, but rather expose it? Did not the Father say, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Did not Jeremiah prophecy: O Yah, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress the nation’s shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “ Our father’s have inherited only falsehood, worthlessness, and unprofitable things of no value.” Jeremiah 16:19. And so I ask? Do we follow in the footsteps of the traditions and dogma’s and teachings of mammon? Or in the Will of the Father, as shown us through His Son, the Messiah, the Way, and the Truth, and the Life! I pray that the day will soon come when all who seek out the will of the Father and except the water and the blood in the name of the Messiah Yahushua, through the guidance of the set-apart Spirit of Truth will soon be willing to cry: Baruk habah bashem Yahuah! I pray you read and understand the warning of Matthew 7:21-24. Shalom friend. From an unworthy seeker of the Way
