Have you looked into the Surgical assist MSE and MMA options? I haven’t heard the best things about SARPE but of course, each case is different. It was hard for me to realize that the patient is the customer and can change their mind at any moment. Best of luck regardless

I hope everything goes well! I wish yu had lookes at MSE before deciding SARME though you could have potentially skipped 1 surgery

Hi Maddie, thinking about doing this myself. Mind me asking how much this procedure was? Thanks!

Hi! Are you based in the UK? Sometimes some of this can be covered by the NHS.
The SARPE surgery and wisdom teeth extraction surgery came in at around £8k. The expander and orthodontic work (braces) will be another £6k on top of that. I am then having a second surgery some time next year. Consultations obviously cost some money too. It's a very expensive process if you don't have anything covered. You could try and see if insurance will cover it.
What is it that you are trying to correct? Just a narrow palate, or other jaw problems too?

Yes, based in London! I am being consulted by Dr Ektor in The West end soon about possible MSE treatment for nasal breathing so hopefully can get that! Thanks for your message and good luck!!!

@@maddierose4552 I didn't see your last part of the message, sorry!
Yeah a narrow, high arched palate and a recessed maxilla/mandible!
Hayfever, deviated septum, mouth breathing because of nasal congestion and forward head posture done a right number on my jaw. I also had one premolar tooth extracted that gave me assymetry on top of that, and some health problems too I suspect a sleep disorder! So a bundle of joy 😂
