What kind of fans are at America's got Talent!? These men have WAY MORE than just talent! They have skill and smarts to put on an amazing performance! They make all their own lights, their own moves, their own performances and they lost to some 10 year old that's really good at singing to the radio? That is the absolute most ridiculous crap I've ever seen. I have nothing against these kids mind you, I just don't think they even deserve to be in the same league as these men. I really hope the best for them because it really looks like they fought a hard battle just to even appear on a show only to get 3rd place.

I was so scared that they would not make it through the quarter finals because of their equipment not working but holy fuck they got third place. Definitely deserved to win but third place is still amazing, plus they still got a show in vegas. Great job guys

When I watch AGT, I watch with my family, and the question my dad always asks during auditions is "ok, but is this a Vegas act?" Because if you think about it, most of the acts that try out are one trick ponies, and can barely ever move beyond the act they did at their audition. My dad never asked that question with these guys. After their audition, the first words out of my dads mouth were "I would totally buy a ticket to their show". He could see them in Vegas before Tyra even hit the golden buzzer. So from now on, Light Balance is going to be my standard when it comes to this show. And if the act can't measure up to the sheer brilliance of these men, then that act will not be getting my vote
So a girl who managed at ten years old to perfect a talent that takes most adults decades, and not only talk but SING in ventriloquism, who also used it as a means to break out of being terminally shy isn't as powerful as a group of middle-aged Russian men who performed to give their families a better life? I'd say Darci's story is as much a great one as Light Balance, and saying that she couldn't carry a Vegas show is balloney! Take a look at performers from the Golden Age of Broadway and Hollywood like Judy Garland or Shirley Temple, who were multi-talented (sing, act, dance, etc.) who not only did live shows but also acted in movies and musicals! Darci has every chance to be a Vegas star. It's really up to her, and her parents as to how far she goes with her talent. Don't say she's any less deserving, just because you liked Light Balance.
Kids learn faster those things. It sounds impressive to say "at ten years what takes adults decades", but it isn't. For comparison, learning a foreign language is easier at a young age then later in life, because their brain is still developing.

I honestly love this dance group. They have so much creativity when it comes to the lights and the choreography. I think during the second round for them it was nice of Tyra to show the dress rehearsal so we could see what they were going to do in the show. Wish these guys have won I would’ve voted for them in a heartbeat for them in the top two.

Back before the show was plagued with singers it was rather fun to watch. Tons of different types of musical acts, acrobats, performers with animals etc. It's rather sad how if you aren't a little girl with a cute story you don't have a chance.

The fact that these guys lost first place to puppetry makes me think that our tastes have not evolved to the point where we can even begin to appreciate Light Balance. They are not on a whole new level, they are on a different planet altogether. Problem is the Voice and American Idol have strict age limits. Most of the singers who try out for AMT wouldn't be allowed to compete on those shows, because the producers want young, fresh teenagers or young adults below 25 years old (because that's apparently what record labels believe will sell to the crowds these days). AMT gives singers of ANY age a chance to perform, and it's a good thing, because a lot of people who dream of being a star wouldn't get that chance with Idol or the Voice.

These guys are so good and some 12 or 10 year old who can just make an puppet look like it's talking by itself beats these guys what they must have trained for years and they prob spent a ton of time on those costumes and the girl just made an single puppet what how did they not win?
The fact that these guys lost first place to puppetry makes me think that our tastes have not evolved to the point where we can even begin to appreciate Light Balance. They are not on a whole new level, they are on a different planet altogether. Not saying that Darci Lynne is not talented or anything like that but this act screams Las Vegas more than hers does in my opinion.

Problem is the Voice and American Idol have strict age limits. Most of the singers who try out for AMT wouldn't be allowed to compete on those shows, because the producers want young, fresh teenagers or young adults below 25 years old (because that's apparently what record labels believe will sell to the crowds these days). AMT gives singers of ANY age a chance to perform, and it's a good thing, because a lot of people who dream of being a star wouldn't get that chance with Idol or the Voice.
