Thank you, You just saved me a lot of money! As I've got 2 X8 pluses, but was going to run out and get the X8 max 😇 I agree with you the bass mode is crap on the X8 plus. Its crazy that the extra power doaent mean better loudness. The x8 max speakers pointing backwards was not a good move, and will only sound better if you put them in an cabinet in your kitchen or bedroom so the soind can echo
I watch this after watching tear down version of both speaker. From what is inside the boxes, the result is as expected. Max has bigger driver, more watt in a single driver is better and louder than small speaker combine together.
This is the best Xdobos comparison in the world👍I totally agree with you for all the explanations on both.. Those multi-directional drivers for such a standalone speaker is not the way it should be .. That is why Xdobo so genius to fool us and force us to get a pair of it so that they will sound more balance and satisfying especially for their most expensive X8 MAX! They put some extra 6D sound effects when playing in TWS for us to feel more amazed of those so-called cool feature as a bonus too! LOL For those who owned a pair of these speakers before the other high rated speakers released, they will still feel worth it as they thought no single speaker will defeat them untill now!.. Xdobo really know how to cook such meals for their weird creations! After all, I already have a pair of this Furiously awesome X8 Max and I really love them so much for what they can really do! Gonna keep them for my laptop's stand and etc..! LOL
I'll trust the fact you are listening with your ears direct, but via CZcams and through my speakers the max sounds massively better than the plus, easy more open sound. the plus sounds super boxy. I really want to like the plus more because it'll save me money as I'm buying two to replace the stereo in my kitchen, and for outdoor movies. what do I do?
Can you recommend eq app? I don’t know what app suitable with this speaker.. some eq app I tested have major problem about bass volume it’s suddenly loud and then its slow it back, so kinda annoying to me..

I use a pair of max. Out of 3 eq setting of the x8 Max, the 1st eq sounds the Best.
1st EQ is the least terrible.

Just remember the Max has sound from the front and back, so it may not be ideal.for your application.
EQ2 for me us a no go. Cuts bass too much and increases treble. I use EQ1 and a 3rd party EQ boost the treble. Sounds really nice 👌
