Осуждение и изоляция нашего единственного настоящего друга и союзника на Ближнем Востоке, оставит на своих местах тех, кто устроил резню 7 октября, а также их вдохновителей.
Ежели именно таким образом мы намереваемся вести современные войны, то наши враги будут иметь свободу совершать по отношению к нам акты совершенно зверской жестокости, зная, что наша собственная щепетильность создаст им непреодолимое преимущество перед нами.

I've always thought that the giant squid gave Kong some health regen for the arm injury he had lol.

So, it’s like this...
It’s hard for me to understand why Godzilla is so loved in the monsterverse when he’s hardly had screen time in a movie called “Godzilla.” Godzilla is on screen for 7 minutes out of a 2 hour movie. And during those 7 minutes, he’s just fighting. We do t get to see how he is or what he does when he’s not fighting. What is he like other than defeating whatever monster is wreaking havoc for the week then disappearing under the ocean. Not only that, it’s hard to read any expression what so ever on Godzilla. So, we don’t know what he’s like during times of peace and we can barely get/read any emotion from him, yet he has so many people who love him. Why?
Now with Kong, we actually do get to see what he’s like during times of peace. We actually see he is kind and gentle, but also a fierce protector of his home. We see him watching the night sky and protecting other animals who need help.
He also saved that woman from drowning; a woman he obviously remembers from the times he’s come across her. Understandable why he will help her.
We can also read his emotions and expressions.
So my question is, what makes Godzilla more appealing to other than Kong. I’ve seen way more love for that lizard than any other monster. Why is that?
I saw both “Godzilla” and “Godzilla King of the Monsters.” I didn’t learn anything about Godzilla other than what the people in the movie were telling me. I wanted Godzilla himself to show me who he is and I didn’t get that, this I left those movies bored and disappointed.
To be honest, I saw the first Godzilla movie at home on tv, and I saw the second one in theaters. Actually, I literally walked out of “Godzilla King of Monsters” because I was that bored. I’ve never walked out of a movie before.
It's mostly the cool factor. That's what made a lot of Godzilla movies work. It's also why there's an entire era of Godzilla films that are basically "Godzilla Vs". You don't go to his movies to watch him, feel sympathy or something. You go to watch him blast stuff and have cool attacks and fight cool monsters. Not that appealing to me since I'm a fan of the only other type of Godzilla movie i.e the original, but the nostalgia carries his movies hard

If you walked out of Godzilla King Of The Monsters then you're not a true fan. This level of whining was hurled at Godzilla 2014 ad nauseam, and yet when viewed in continuity it's there. Go back to the Japanese movies and it's there also. Now, I'll grant you I didn't like much of the human interaction in King Of The Monsters, but watching Rhodan awaken was awesome, and King Ghidorah was magnificent. The fight scenes were epic, Kong Island was, duh, Kong.

Let me explain, Godzilla has been around since 1954 and has had over 67 years of history, 36 films, references in other forms of media and so on. I grew up with the millennium era, but still hated the 98 film, so yeah Godzilla holds more of sentimental value to us when he returned in 2014 after 10 years of hiatus

Its weird how his adolescent features are more obvious now after we've seen him fully grown in GVK.
