    This is so creamy and delicious. You just need five ingredients and you have homemade ice cream. This is a great alternative if you're looking for a cold treat. It is so easy to prepare and make.
    Try this recipe and share it with your family and friends!
    Ingredients:
    * 1 can coconut milk (400 ml)
    * 1 all-purpose cream (370 ml)
    * 1/3 cup white sugar
    * 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    * 1 Tbsp corn starch
    Procedure:
    1. Mix all ingredients in a pan using a whisk.
    2. In a low heat, whisk continuously until the mixture thickens.
    3. When desired thickness is reached, turn off the heat and let it cool.
    4. Transfer to a container. Tap gently to reduce the bubbles.
    5. Place in a freezer overnight.
    6. Serve in a bowl and Enjoy!

    I would modify this by making the coconut pudding with the coconut milk, sugar and corn starch, chilling it and then whipping the cream and vanilla, then folding it into the pudding before freezing. This will give a much lighter and smoother product.

    What can I use instead of all purpose cream?

    • @SARAPlicious
      @SARAPlicious  Před 2 lety

      You can use heavy cream or whole milk since this has high percentage milk fat. 😊

      You can try to substitute sugar with stevia to make it ketogenic. You can adjust the sweetness to your liking. Please let me know how it tastes like when you try to make it with stevia. Thank you.

    I am confused ...The one in the can is coconut cream or regular (drinking) coconut milk? and the all purpose cream to use can be "coconut cream" ?

    • @SARAPlicious
      @SARAPlicious  Před 3 lety +2

      I used regular coconut milk. And yes, you can substitute coconut cream instead of all purpose cream. Thank you for your interest in this recipe. Please let me know what is the outcome of your recipe if you substituted coconut cream instead of all purpose cream.

    What's all purpose cream?

    • @SARAPlicious
      @SARAPlicious  Před 3 lety +1

      It's an all-around cream that is versatile enough to be used in a number of ways. You can use all-purpose cream for stews, sauces, soups, salad dressings, and specific kinds of desserts (which don't use whipped cream) due to its stabilized formula.
