Videos look very good! And super informative!!.A lot of things have changed since I’ve joined. Shoutout to anyone considering Enlisting or commissioning. ✌🏽🇺🇸
The shortfall I remember is that training was all about what we are going to do to the other guy. But there are times the other guy wins and you have KIA and WIA. We tend not to do so well when it’s our time to bleed. We have to be ready to absorb casualties, rally, and drive on. War is evil sh!t. Expect it to be hard.
I do highly recommend people getting into shape before joining the military. Specifically for the Army I recommend being able to finish 2 miles of running without having to stop to walk or rest. But the main reason for this is if you get that 'General Discharge' employers are stupid, they are going to see that on your record when you apply for a job and think its something bad. Not realizing it was simply because you weren't in shape. Smart ones will ask you... sometimes. Though some may even have prejudice against someone even if they know why. Being in the military does put you in a more scrutinized class of citizen in the United States. Not saying its wrong, or right. Just pointing out that even those of us with honorable discharges have to disclose everything about our military service every time we get a job, apply for benefits, permits, licenses, and even jury duty. Its a hassle, but we do get the 10% discount on occassion, so I guess that makes up for it. 🤷♂ I'd still recommend military service though. The experience outweighs the cons.
Hey just found you account! Pretty dope. So I think one that people might not know about is what if they don’t have slots open for the job you want but you already signed in!
Unfortunately if you don’t show up to your shipping date after taking your oath and signing your contract you will be fined and supposedly “apprehended” for 4 years
If you have a junior officer who is stationed at Schofield Barracks, HI getting married to a NCO stationed in Germany who has more years of service, which duty station would would they be transfering to in all probability? Different MOS.
It's going to go off date of rank. So whoever got promoted first. If they both have the same date of rank then it goes off who has been in the Army longer.
Excuse the name this shows this was for my gaming channel for when our esports team kicked up this year. But I have a serious question. I want to enlist for the first time I am 24 and I want to get into airborne. I saw this video and it talked about an option 4 contract, how does that work exactly and can I get it when I first enlist in my contract? I heard it is a good way to get yourself I to the airborne.
What if I’ve been texting a SM that had been deployed to iraqistan for 18 years? They told me that they have no money, and have no food and some fake bank issue, that a Power Of Attorney can’t fix . I hope these fakers are real m, I’m ready to just send money blindly.🙄🤣
Your advice is total BS. If you can't give accurate info then don't give any. You are in the service once you take the oath of enlistment which happens before you go to Basic training.
@@justjim501 you have to actually ship out. So the moment you get off the bus at basic you are a cadet until graduation where you become a soldier. The oath and signing your enlistment documents signs you up but it’s like making an appointment. If you don’t show up you aren’t there. No benefits or pay are rewarded to you until you show up at basic. Day 1 of week zero you are an active duty service member not the day you take your oath at MEPS
Here is a situation. Getting stuck in a platoon full of criminals, and getting punished for reporting them.
The biggest “what if” for me when I was in the army is “what if I ate the charms candy in my MRE?”
You helped me transition from Army Reserves to Active Duty. Thank you!
Nice. Hope it goes well!!

My grand mother died when I was in ait but it was critical at the time and I could not attend her funeral.

Would you go into service before or after your parents pass away knowing the time is coming up soon
Why would you care about what you parents think?
It’s something YOUR doing.
What happens to BAH when you marry a solider of the same rank? Do both get half or is it still one gets full BAH and one gets half?

The lady on the thumbnail, is very attractive...just saying
What if i enlist into the military, would i be able to help a parent into receiving citizenship/green card?
You being in the US military can help you get US citizenship faster but it wont help a family member get one any faster than the normal process.

I am joining the army I am working on the paperwork and studying for the asvab. I want anything combat.
I would keep any confederate crap out of sight. Unless you want to get labeled as a racist.
