This is Chelmsford Citadels Salvation Army Songsters performing "Somebody Prayed For Me". This recording is taken from their album "In His Presence" which features Chelmsford Songsters. I just wondered if someone might pray for me,(Darren) I realy need to find the lord but cant seem to, for years I have struggled and struggled to keep hold of the lord, although I know he is there I hope through prayer , the power, the power of prayer might help and this song in particular has made me cry, thinking about everything thank you all for you hopefuly prayers and thank you for this songsters
Darren know that I prayed for you tonight and I will think of you in the coming days too. It always blesses me to hear others honest stories and experiences - their blessings and their hardships.
As I listen to the words of the song again I can begin to feel the pain you must be feeling. Some of those truths and feelings we must confess to ourselves - and it can really hurt us. But please know this - god loves and cares for you. It's not always easy to hear him and we feel lost and unsure how to reclaim his saving grace.
The first step to finding him again is through prayer. Cast all your cares and worries on him. Begin to reconnect and his love will begin to heal those scars. It's ok to ask for help from God and from others. You can't do it all on your own and that is why you must know there are others out there praying for you. God will hear our voices - he always does. I pray you will feel his unfailing love fall upon you, his grace fill your spirit and his presence be your constant guide. God bless.

I'm a Salvationist in the US and as I currently sit praying fervently over an issue I'm overwhelmed by and before I go in to have a hard conversation with someone about it, this song came on after another hymn I had googled. I sang this song several years ago at a music camp and this bolstered my spirits. Thank you.

The Holy Spirit will always pray for you even when you don't know what to say. Romans 8 v 26 "And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress.
