Just a quick video discussing my 2016 Triumph Street Twin, its modifications, and where I plan to take it in the future. If you have any questions please feel free to task. Cheers!
I have the 2022 I didn’t wanna change anything but the dealer put fly screen, headlight Grill and bar end Mirror. Will never put any other accessories. Love it stock.
Just got my ST back from shop, bent valve, and had a Tec Parts cam installed. You will be very impressed with the result. I'm still running bike in, but wow, I think it will pull off the clock when done. Only got an xpipe(tec again) and 18 tooth front sprocket(may need a 19 with the cam), everything else standard.
Great looking ST. I’ve got a 2022 and many of the same mods as you. Agree it looks dorky stock but it has the bones of a classic beauty with the right mods. Still haven’t done the X pipe but that’s next. Tamarit cycles out of Spain has some really nice side covers you should check out. Pricey, especially if you’re only using one, but perfect for the classic aesthetic.
I just bought the same bike, a red 2016. I disagree in most of your opinions and modifications, so I have done it my way 🙂Only similar thing is the x-pipe. Right now I am installing the TEC camshaft.
Hi Svein. I think that’s the beauty of this bike. It’s infinitely customizable and there’s a robust aftermarket allowing you to take it in many different directions. I’d love to see your set up and please get back in touch when you install the camshaft. I’m really interested to know what you think.
Just added the analog signals to my street Scrambler and absolutely love them. Sometimes won’t work with the hazard indicator though. Think I might need to add a relay. You have any issues with yours?
That's funny you say that because I did have issues with my hazard indicators. They would not work any time I had the turn signal on and vice versa. I would have the shut the bike off to get them back working properly. Oddly though, when I switched to the analog signals, it seemed to fix the problem.
Do you have the links to any of the products that you talked about? I'm very interested in the tail tidy, but from the sounds of it I'd need a new seat too
Hi Patrick. Here’s a link to the tail tidy www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/new-rage-cycles-led-fender-eliminator-triumph-bonneville-street-twin-2016-2017?gclid=Cj0KCQjwguGYBhDRARIsAHgRm49SvOv8tNzl2sykTXT2vRxP9VbGamuUPsPsDv9xxKNoh5By-B9gq80aAg4_EALw_wcB. The stock seat will fit just fine, but most of the aftermarket bench seats are not compatible without modifying the tail tidy.
Thanks dude, for sharing! Question, how do you deal with the Crafton Artelier seats which I understand is not waterproof. If they get wet, how soon do they dry off?
I haven’t had any issue but I’ve also only been caught in one major rain storm. I just pull over and let it pass. And on long trips I carry a half cover. The seat does come with a waterproof cover though that you could keep in a small bag, but unfortunately I can’t really answer the question.
@@goatfarmmedia4384 Thanks for the info! Super helpful for me to decide if I really want a seat which is not waterproof in the notoriously unpredictable weather in Southeast Asia.
Left it out in a light rain for about ten minutes and seems to be pretty dry. Didn’t notice anything soaking in. I would def ride with the cover though if our in a heavy downpour. Hope this helps!
That’s made by BAAK cycles. I’m not sure exactly what they call it but it replaces the side panel and offers a little storage space. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
@@goatfarmmedia4384 Yeah i have. The street twin i’m buying this week has a british customs seat already on it so i may try one of their fender eliminators if they ever go back in stock
I actually have all of the stock parts and have been contemplating whether to reinstall them all just to see what the bike looked like in its original condition again. Maybe I’ll make a video about it.
I have no clue to TBH. I believe the Scrambler makes something like 75 HP, so its probably a bit faster, but certainly not fast. Fast is obviously relative though so it all depends on what your expectations and experiences are. I
I would actually love to know. The previous owner installed them and I haven’t been able to figure out who makes them. Waiting for someone on here to solve the mystery lol
@@goatfarmmedia4384 I'd like to know too. In your video it looked like there was some sort of logo etched onto them. Any words etc....that you could pass along which might be googled to sleuth them out? I see you have the TEC thru axle rear bobbins for a paddock stand. I'm considering a Speed Twin 900 (same bike essentially as yours) but I can't determine if those bobbins and a paddock stand will work with the stock mufflers. TEC was not certain so if anybody out there knows I'm curious.
@@dustytriumph hey so I just checked and the logo looks to be “LE” enclosed on a frosted circle. I’ve tried some simple google searching, but still can’t find out what they are.
@@goatfarmmedia4384 Hey! Thanks, I've been in touch with another guy on YT that has a Triumph Street Twin that had the bobbins and stock exhaust without any problems using a paddock stand. That's the way I'd prefer to go at least initially. It had seemed they might not be compatible.
looks nice enough, though i think stock looks good. I'd be more inclined to performance upgrades eg tires shocks and exhaust(you've done). If the cam change really improves it i'd think about that. Although, I like wire spoke wheels, so thats the major change i'd do appearance wise. I'm still searching for a Triumph at this point.
Solid set up man! Great video.
amazing stuff brother, lovely bike and mods!

Glad to hear it! Are you located in the states? Also, about how much did the shop charge to install the cam?
These cams are currently out of stock…do you know if they usually do new batches?

I have a Triumph Street Twin just like this one for sale locally. It's a 2017 model for $7K. Should I buy it, are these bikes reliable?

Do you know if this tail tidy would work with a British Customs seat?
It will not unfortunately. I actually tried before purchasing the CA seat.

Of course. The saddle bag is by a company called Longride and you can purchase it from their website here longride.com/
