I really miss the Thai A380 (Double decker aircraft). Loved flying on them from Heathrow to Bangkok
That was the very last flight I took before the pandemic! LHR-BKK on a Thai A380.

I'm curios about the car parking, i use purple parking either meet and greet or park and ride, what did you use ?, just priced £281 for a months parking,.
I got a lift on this occasion but would just get the train or national express if I couldn't and it's more than £100 for parking.
The train or bus aren't too much if booked in advance.

I find the long haul flights to be quite relaxing if you've got plenty of space. I was more tired at the start as I was up at 5:30am to get to Bangkok!

Ah mate. Sorry to disappoint you in all that but British Airways don't go to Thailand anymore. My friend was going to take his girlfriend there but had to get it refunded as they stopped going to Bangkok after the country had to shut down as the pandemic was getting worse. But luckily I went 4 times before the pandemic started.
Thanks for that. I thought they'd resumed them but I just searched and saw that the current flights that they are offering are code shares with Qatar (Via Doha).
I'd expect they'll resume at some point though as they were usually busy pre 2020...

I think you will find British Airways do not fly to Bangkok from London Heathrow anymore, as they pass you over to Qatar which do not fly direct to Bangkok.

I don't fly with Thai Airways anymore, they stole money from me, I had a flight booked with them from LHR to BKK just before the pandemic started so could not fly on the dates I booked, I sent E-Mail after E-Mails to them they did not answer one, as not been able to fly my flight went without me, could not even phone them as the office in London was closed so I lost over £700.00, so no more Thai Airways, I fly with Finnair now have you tried them??@@pg.travels
A lot of routes BA have abandoned since covid,they don’t do Kuala Lumpur either
Believe Ba will be resuming flights later in 2024 but from Gatwick not Heathrow.

Another way to know if your flight is the THAI flight or codeshare flight is the flight no. If you got 3 digits flight no. TGxxx It’s the flight that operate by THAI with THAI aircraft but if 4 digits,TGxxxx that the codeshare flight and you will fly on other airline aircraft.
