Traversing the Ancient Pass was composed by He Huang in 1997. Traveling the ancient Silk Road was arduous, and almost every step echoes the experiences of those who had traveled before. The road is filled with signposts, ancient and modern, that tell the tale of forgotten armies, merchants, envoys, or adventurers, with their songs of love and longing still reverberating through the high mountain passes.
《古道行》由中央音乐学院教授、博士生导师黄河于1997年创作。这是一首描写“丝绸古道”放入扬琴曲。感叹古今，在这斑痕累累的古道上，行路难；战争留下的创伤，动人心魄；壮怀感慨，千古传唱。
