I’m in the tragic situation of still owning Tom Powell - massive BE and really low CBAs now - don’t have heaps of cash but I’m weighing up either Powell straight to Rozee and jump on early (despite probable price drop) or Powell and Jake Rogers combined for a cheap rookie and a 400-550k premo in the forward line. Would love your thoughts - Rozee seems too early but probably has the higher ceiling than others but yeah tossing up between him, Curnow, Jackson, and maybe Jez but dont love the options and have an eye on Rankine
I think Rankine is must have so want to hold a spot for him. Rozee won't lose too much more from here if he starts toning up so fine to go him. I don't think Curnow and Jackson are bad options by any mean though
I’m like you my instinct is Curnow > McKay but looking at the numbers it’s not obvious why. Maybe Curnow’s ceiling from 2023 and previous years? That and he’s a better footballer
I have a finished team with today's trades with no rookies on field and all players averaging 100 + except for the forward line. I brought in Curnow who I will loop with Reid from the Eagles ( yep I held him lol ) So Fisher and him are my weak link forward / team and hopefully I can loop those 3 mentioned for some decent scores as I already have Flan, Rank, Zork and Hean. I have 9 trades left after today's trade with a team value of 13 900 000 and 5 playing players on the bench ( after the bye if they can hold their spots )
Keep in mind i have Sexton as F6. Other than that going to be full premo with either of these- I can Get in English and Yeo this week and have 6 trades left for the season or Grundy and Ryan finishing the move with 4 trades left after next week...Thoughts?
Looking at our onfield teams JD, there isn't a lot of difference. Def: Same top 5. Mids: Same top 5. I also have Green. Ruck: I have Max & Grundy after going through too many trades on that line. Fwd: I have your top 4 as well as Moore F4 & Jackson F6.
Not going to be able to afford rankine so I’m looking at other alternatives such as a kozzy, Bolton, Bedford he he keeps a full CBA tagging role and McKay thoughts?
I don't mind the Curnow trade in this week JD, I could go with him instead of Salem or Sinclair. Would just have to move Zorko into the mids, which would then give me a mid/fwd swing with Heeney and Flanders.
Hi JD. I had a good bye round for a change, scored 2,049 and went up 3,576 places to rank 9,603, so back to where I was before the byes. I am down to six trades, so can only use two more, I will still end up with one rookie on field (M8/D6 McKercher). I need a bit of help deciding my last upgrade. What would be a better trade in, Salem this round or Sinclair next round. I will still be able to field 18 this round without Salem and feel that Sinclair is a better pick, but getting Sinclair in would leave me with very little coin in the bank. What do you think is the best option.
