TOTE SAVVY - Deluxe, Review
This item has a lot of promise and I think with some thoughtful redesign, it could be a very nice product. In its current state, I’m not loving:
1. Their customer service / lack of response to my email inquiry.
2. Advertising that it holds a 13” laptop
3. Burying the fact that you can’t return items more than 25% off at the very bottom of their FAQ, underneath a question about international returns.
4. Key fob - Needs a longer tether and bigger hardware.
The amount of pockets are nice and I like that you can fit a large Snapware in two pockets, but if you did that it wouldn’t really fit in the purse so well. I say reconfigure the pockets such that even if you put something in every pocket, it would still be a reasonable shape that fits in tote.
I don’t mind that it’s not perfect…hence why 99% of my reviews have Version 2.0 suggestions. I do mind that their advertising feels misleading. In the short term, I’m hoping they make the laptop pocket big enough to actually fit a 13” laptop and that they more plainly advertise that you can’t return items that are more than 25% off.

I just bought this tote Savy used to use as a diaper bag insert. I never plan to use my laptop in mine, but good to know it doesn’t fit! How crazy! Maybe they’ll see this and change some things! Thanks for the honest review!

Excellent review. I was in the fence and need it to fit my work laptop also so I won’t be purchasing. I am a strong believer in great service too so it doesn’t sound like a company I will support and purchase from anytime soon.

I just personally looked into your customer service experience and saw that a return label was issued to you immediately after requesting it. It's possible the email ended up in a trash or spam folder--we've seen that happen from time to time.

Bummer that it doesn't fit your computer... on the demo on their website it looks like they're using one of the newer macbook pros... My guess is that my macbook air would fit. Still wonder though if the insulated food pocket is worth the extra $30 for the deluxe vs original... Is the pocket leak proof, or does it actually keep the food warm?
Hey CosmoHippie - I don't use it so can't say for sure, but I don't believe it's leak proof b/c of the closure. I suppose if you kept your bag perfectly upright, the material does appear to be water resistant. I don't think it's insulated to the point that it keeps food warm. Hope that helps!

Thanks, Elle! I think as a working woman, we need to demand better of companies that supposedly cater to working women...can't imagine a man's company designing something like this and not getting roasted for a laptop not fitting.
