Yep, I’m back reviewing commercials again. Some nostalgic ones, some catchy ones, some creepy ones, some stupid ones, some nonsensical ones and ones that are plain scary. ... Happy frickin’ birthday to me!
Yo according to his “Let’s Review Some More Adverts” video, it showed a Calling All Engines Ad, and he was pissed to realize it was released on his birthday, October 3rd, and that’s today! Happy Birthday James! Keep up the good work!
21:10 VeggieTales' first episode "Where's God When I'm S-Scared?" came out December of that year. Then again, this was before "Toy Story" while Pixar was still doing commercials, so your point does still stand.
Brian Hebert No; apparently, that backpack does have a hidden parachute. They were going all the way to put effort into this commercial, by faking this death-defying stunt.
They Even Changed There Logo And The Logo Is Now Green Instead Of Red And My Pop Said To Me That The Reason Why The Woolworths Logo Was Changed Is Because Coles A Aussie Supermarket Was Red Like The Old Woolworths Logo So That Is Why The Woolworths Logo Was Changed
Also! My mom told me that she used to like honey comb as a kid but now she's an adult, she don't like them anymore. Anyway. at leasts we don't watch these type of commercials. she was never that crazy. My only favorite cereals that i always used to love are KIX, Trix(Not anymore because of the DISGUSTING SCHOOL FOOD AND THE BULLIES WITH CHILDISH DEEDS), Honey nut cheerios, Frosted cheerios, Blueberry Cheerios, Strawberry cheerios (Only one time because it's limited edited), Multi Grain Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast crunch, And Rice crispies cereal.
8:21 - I miss them both. I still have dreams about them from time to time. Now where am I going to rent my movies and video games and buy toys? I mean, besides Netflix, GameFly, Wal-Mart, Target, and other leading toy stores? 9:36 - You're more faithful to Banjo-Kazooie than Microsoft was before Banjo and Kazooie became DLC in Smash Bros. Ultimate. 10:54 - Yes. Reviving their friend who "wasn't the favorite character in Banjo-Kazooie anyway" after Grunty killed him after spending two years trapped under a boulder and turning into a skeleton. 11:50 - They made her hold a wrench in their last game before their triumphant return to where they belong; Nintendo territory. 12:18 - Things would have been a lot different if Microsoft never bought Rare. We could have had a proper "Banjo-Threeie" that Grunty teased at the end of Tooie in the GameCube era. That, Donkey Kong Racing, and Conker's Other Bad Day. 13:08 - 2060, to be precise. 18:20 - Is it wrong that I miss the Me Want Honeycomb mascot? 22:30 - This advert has more cows than the Earthworm Jim franchise. 27:19 - Yes, he does. He has a helmet-copter, and this was established in his debut appearance, the "Super DuckTales" saga. 27:35 - You do have a point. Louie without Huey and Dewey would be like Annie without Clarabel, Bill without Ben, Donald without Douglas, Max without Monty... you get where this is going. 29:03 - Louie became a phoneaholic teenager in the 2017 series. 29:52 - I miss Christine Cavanaugh. She passed away a few years ago, but in addition to Gosalyn, she was also Chuckie Finster, Dexter, Babe the Pig, Oblina, and Bunnie Rabbot. 29:57 - Kit Cloudkicker and Molly Cunningham, you're in the wrong Disney Afternoon cartoon! 31:09 - I personally prefer the Sega Game Gear. It didn't have a Chip N' Dale: Rescue Rangers or DuckTales (1987) game (unless you count The Lucky Dime Caper or Deep Duck Trouble, and even then, those focused more on Donald Duck than the 1987 series ever did), but it did have a TaleSpin game. 43:01 - Voice distortion at its worst. 44:11 - Sounds like the market where the first little piggy went (and possibly the third to buy roast beef. Why it was doing that is anyone's guess). 45:31 - Does anyone think that Crash Bandicoot should have his own cartoon? There've been numerous video game mascots who've had at least one. Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Donkey Kong, heck, even Earthworm Jim had one (and this cutscene is very reminiscent of it). 48:29 - Word of advice: Do not try to flush toys down the toilet. 48:49 - Remember when Cartoon Network wasn't a dumping ground for Toddler Titans reruns? Those were good times.
48:34 You heard him, he's not selecting ads himself for him to review. So let's help him by giving all the other ads he hasn't reviewed yet and he will do them.
RANDOM COMMENT THAT SORTA RELATES TO THE VIDEO: K’Nex actually made fully functional Mario Kart sets. But despite Lego making tons of Super Mario sets, they still haven’t made a Mario Kart set. Let that sink in.
I went to comparethemeerkat.com just out of curiosity. It's still up. And also is comparethemarket.com. Insurance companies have really weird marketing strategies, and I just can't understand why...
Happy 23th birthday plus I love knex as well I always made a swing set or my own candy Halloween floss big lollipop on a stick good times OH THE NOSTALGIA WAVE OF ENTERTAINMENT unlike the trash that kids have these days like you said Bing we need Nick Jr. Classics back
I grew up with those ice cream lollipops since me and Scarlet my Mom's Goddaughter had the orange one while I had the original one strawberry my favourite flavour before cherry coke came into view since cherry is my favourite red fruit now
Ok no joke I remember when the bee movie was in McDonald’s and they had some sort of Sent thing inside them that smelt horrible and one McDonald’s got a bunch so strong in smell they actually complained as nobody wanted to go in owing to the smell
You know, you have to feel sorry for all the abuse Pop took in those Aardman Rice Krispies commercials. In case you didn't know this, in the original Thunderbirds series, Virgil had two voice actors, David Holliday through season 1 and Jeremy Wilkin for Season 2 and the movies.
"Some fun, some food, it's all inside this Happy Meal" is owned by McDonalds UK and is only to be played in McDonalds ads on UK stations. Not sure if it applies to ROI (Republic Of Ireland) viewers watching ITV/C4/C5 via satellite, though. BTW, what's the ROI slogan they use in their McDonalds tie-in ads?
8:23 did anyone notice the Thomas And Friends Party logo at the upper left corner, Jesus Christ there is no information about this event on TV or was it a way of saying 10 Years Of Thomas anyway did anyone watch the party event and recorded it?
33:57 I don't know about you, but I think that advert would have creeped me out a bit if I seen it as a little kid (I was a bit of a wimp back then). Another good advert review, BTW.
23:30 i was only born from 2006, but awwww..i feel sorry for your loss of the version of this commercial with music and bright colorful text "SNAP, CRACKLE, POP". Anyway, about the text that you made that you try to remember the originals, were those text in that version glowing, and with firework sparkle transitions of those text? do you remember anything like that, james a williams.
36:15 Whenever I look back at this old ad, I ask myself if this foreshadowed the Fairy type being strong against dragon types in Pokémon for the future.
Have you tried reviewing those ads? There's one with a New York Cab driver called Doug who says that 'Liberty Mutual customizes your car insurance so you only pay for what you need.' who partners with an Emu. And there's an AT&T ad with a boy band standing in place and miming the lyrics to a song at a concert. Also, there's a Walmart ad with giant kids in it (it's a back to school US ad).
Contrary to belief, VeggieTales wasn’t the VERY first CGI show as that record was held by the Incredible Crash Dummies which aired on FOX Kids Before December 1993
From the same insane producer who did the Little Baby's ice cream commercials...there is a commercial for a salon that features two horse-like women (and no I am not making a Sarah Jessica Parker joke, the two women are both equine-like) , in addition to that infamous commercial with the Honey Comb cereal there's another cereal commercial that features people being mutated and those are the early Sugar Puffs commercials with the Honey Monster. And then there's the commercial for Munchsters...'Go mad for Munchsters'.
well and ask for the think! commercial, the eyes looks kinda like this animation is from nickelodeon shows like hey arnold! more like what british say "Hay Ahnold"
The sheep and chicken are anthro animals and photoreal cartoon ones not real animals and talking animals are realer than you think because when animals vocalize, they sound as if they are having a dialogue.
I think I might know why the orange one is just as popular as the ice cream one because even though its cream flavour it still has milk in it so it's good to see a lactose intolerant one for people who have alergies or allergens to milk
23:36 that's sad. i wish i can find that too, now. Hey people! if anyone found the version of the aardman 1996 rice krispies cereal advert UK with music with bright colorful text snap crackle and pop, say "I".
3:45 Is that a Hornby R1030 train set I can see? Wait. Let me get this straight. You're not that keen on Hornby's Thomas range, but yet you still managed to get that train set? Wow.
You may have seen it already, but in his latest commercials video, the Nostalgia Critic covered those Tales of The Road PSAs. I don’t remember the safe place to cross ad, but I do remember seeing the other 2 while I was in my early 20s.
42:56 what's worst was the sega genesis oops i'm sorry....MEGADRIVE, with the sound chip played in some games, it made some games have voice samples that are super distorted and some sound effects and music have SOME EARRAPE AUDIO AND SOUND EFFECTS. i'm looking at you sonic spinball with your options menu theme, and i didn't forget you either Ultimate Qix with your etcher sketcher sound effects
Yo according to his “Let’s Review Some More Adverts” video, it showed a Calling All Engines Ad, and he was pissed to realize it was released on his birthday, October 3rd, and that’s today! Happy Birthday James! Keep up the good work!
I was going to say the same thing.
21:10 VeggieTales' first episode "Where's God When I'm S-Scared?" came out December of that year. Then again, this was before "Toy Story" while Pixar was still doing commercials, so your point does still stand.
There's a behind the scene video for the banjo tooie advert that shows that banjo did have a parachute
Brian Hebert No; apparently, that backpack does have a hidden parachute. They were going all the way to put effort into this commercial, by faking this death-defying stunt.
I say its a manikin
8:18 - Well actually Woolworths still exists in Australia. Similar to something like Tesco in the UK.
Tesco? Don’t you mean Horse Burger Central?
They Even Changed There Logo And The Logo Is Now Green Instead Of Red And My Pop Said To Me That The Reason Why The Woolworths Logo Was Changed Is Because Coles A Aussie Supermarket Was Red Like The Old Woolworths Logo So That Is Why The Woolworths Logo Was Changed
the compare the market adverts lasted out the other big insurance sites' adverts because the meerkats only had one pun
I’ve seen that Cheese Dippers Ad on my Chicken Run VHS.
Wow! I completely forgot today was your birthday. Happy frickin birthday to you James!
32:24, Cameo of the one and only Caddicarus, himself.
for now
I played the McDonald's fairy game loads as a kid.
I’ve also played it. I can’t remember it much, but I do know that I did.
James A Williams: *Keeps talking about driving PSAs*
The first thing that pops in my head: *learn colors with superheroes in colors vehicles*
Also! My mom told me that she used to like honey comb as a kid but now she's an adult, she don't like them anymore.
Anyway. at leasts we don't watch these type of commercials. she was never that crazy.

happy birthday from one James to another 🎂🎁🎉

Hell, kirby got a cartoon
If Crash Bandicoot had its own cartoon, it should have used 2D animation.
The Hedgehog looking things from the THINK! PSAs look like Victor from Just For Laughs.
48:34
You heard him, he's not selecting ads himself for him to review. So let's help him by giving all the other ads he hasn't reviewed yet and he will do them.
He doesn’t want to review anymore commercials
RANDOM COMMENT THAT SORTA RELATES TO THE VIDEO:

Make people remember them more
Happy 23th birthday plus I love knex as well I always made a swing set or my own candy Halloween floss big lollipop on a stick good times OH THE NOSTALGIA WAVE OF ENTERTAINMENT unlike the trash that kids have these days like you said Bing we need Nick Jr. Classics back
That cinema duck tales ad was Right on so many levels.
24:13 I was eating cereal with milk, when you sayed that.
Also! I remember rubberdubbers! So forget the fireman Sam reboot!
Happy Birthday James!! You continue to amuse us all!! Keep it up!!
I saw you biting your hands on this video! Wow! You call that cannibalism? Nine!
I remember most of these adverts!
I remember seeing an advert for chutney where cheeses wanted to be sacrificed.
"Some fun, some food, it's all inside this Happy Meal" is owned by McDonalds UK and is only to be played in McDonalds ads on UK stations. Not sure if it applies to ROI (Republic Of Ireland) viewers watching ITV/C4/C5 via satellite, though. BTW, what's the ROI slogan they use in their McDonalds tie-in ads?
those Burger King ads were quite mean-spirited as long as i remembered.
plus, i also don't add milk on cereal.
What r your views on Children in Need and r u planning to talked about it like 2009 all stars video music?
That's what they always say on the UK McDonald's commercial! (Mocks) it's all in side this happy meal
This was really sad and depressing to watch the ad and I never want to see it again.
Happy birthday.
5:10 I didn't even know Mr. Men back when I saw this in your video that I'm watching here.
23:30 i was only born from 2006, but awwww..i feel sorry for your loss of the version of this commercial with music and bright colorful text "SNAP, CRACKLE, POP". Yeah Woolworths did the same as blockbuster
It’s still in Australia
Also do you take off the rind of your human or just eat it as it is
OMG I loved knex especially the mario kart ones
To be honest, I'd rather take those lazy ads instead of those annoying groupon ones CZcams subjects me to.
24:14 You're not alone. I have milk with cereal, but I like to have it separate.
lip syncing is even worse in the netherlands
we've got ENGLISH adverts
IN DUTCH
42:39 maybe it's the original actors were retired.
37:09
THIS ACTUALLY GETS STUCK IN MY HEAD-
OH MY GOD!!! James has a moustache!!!
In Germany there is a ton of woolworths
James, I love Chadtronic, but I can tell where your coming from.
The Boy Who Didn't Look Before Crossing the Road looks like the Ancient Child from a picture book called How to Live Forever.
love your videos, keep up the good work 👍
36:15 Whenever I look back at this old ad, I ask myself if this foreshadowed the Fairy type being strong against dragon types in Pokémon for the future.
Apparently there is an American Supermarket called Piggly Wiggly. (Although I half expected you to drop a reference to *that* holiday special.)
Happy Birthday, James!
32:23 CADDICARUS
Have you tried reviewing those ads? There's one with a New York Cab driver called Doug who says that 'Liberty Mutual customizes your car insurance so you only pay for what you need.' who partners with an Emu. 43:03 that Tomy Thomas has a similar whistle to that of James's season 4-5.
21:10 Actually veggietales premiered that year as the first cgi show
Contrary to belief, VeggieTales wasn’t the VERY first CGI show as that record was held by the Incredible Crash Dummies which aired on FOX Kids Before December 1993
35:21 nope. White Boneless Chicken, Water, Food Starch-Modified, Salt, Seasoning (Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Salt, Wheat Starch, Natural Flavoring [Botanical Source], Safflower Oil, Dextrose, Citric Acid), Sodium Phosphates, Natural Flavor (Botanical Source).

And then there's the commercial for Munchsters...'Go mad for Munchsters'.
Also! US Bee Movie McDonald's toy has Barry action figure that you can make him walk by turning the key on his back
Hey, James, remember, in the next advert video, remember to review the Starburst Fighter Jet commercial, it airs a lot here in America.
Also, remember to do the first I'm lovin it commercial.
Hey-o I sent some commercials as well, nice to see a fellow requester
13:39 I like meerkats
well and ask for the think! commercial, the eyes looks kinda like this animation is from nickelodeon shows like hey arnold! more like what british say "Hay Ahnold"
Yeah! I have issues about 2020! It should've been have something like futurama
yes. piggly wiggly is a store in the north and south reigons of the usa but reason why its called that remains a mystery
HOLD UP, HOLD UP....i thought you british citizens never like to drink soda?
The sheep and chicken are anthro animals and photoreal cartoon ones not real animals and talking animals are realer than you think because when animals vocalize, they sound as if they are having a dialogue.
Happy birthday hope you have a great day
31:06 This is why I'm a Nintendo fanboy.
26:10 Do not worry. I like broccoli and spinach when i was a 12 year old.
I think I might know why the orange one is just as popular as the ice cream one because even though its cream flavour it still has milk in it so it's good to see a lactose intolerant one for people who have alergies or allergens to milk
15:10 The only two differences is that the compare the meerkat jingle was sung in a Russian accent and instead of market its meerkat
It OK, James. I don't add any when I'm eating cereals.
47:53 Oh, I LOVE your cat, James!
35:21 - 35:44: Yes, but this fox is trying to serenade it to get into his belly, since the chicken is already dead.
23:36 that's sad. i wish i can find that too, now. Hey people! if anyone found the version of the aardman 1996 rice krispies cereal advert UK with music with bright colorful text snap crackle and pop, say "I".
Woolworth is still around on Germany.
45:53 James had you ever seen LUPIN THE THIRD!
*hugs James* Good luck mate!
3:45 Is that a Hornby R1030 train set I can see? Wait. Let me get this straight. You're not that keen on Hornby's Thomas range, but yet you still managed to get that train set? Wow.
I actually found that whopper ad funny.
TMW K'NEX ads have better child actors than Power Rangers. (Disney and SB)
The dealtastic one is actually just funny XD
I actually just looked it up and yes piggly wiggly is real. Kinda suprised by that lol.
42:21 - 42:36: Alan sounds the same to me, but Virgil sounds more like Donald Trump. I have an ear for cadence.
Um...
No. It just sounds like a general American.
Donald Trump sounds different.
And I’m British.
You may have seen it already, but in his latest commercials video, the Nostalgia Critic covered those Tales of The Road PSAs. I don’t remember the safe place to cross ad, but I do remember seeing the other 2 while I was in my early 20s.
I was honestly rather shocked that I reviewed certain adverts before he did.
@@JamesAWilliams Here is your answer yes they are still doing Meerkats.
@@JamesAWilliamsI have suggested an ad
And its PG tips - The Return
Fun fact: the dark edit of the hedgehogs getting ran over was made by WTLNetwork.
Or....that powerful tower your talking about or what is it called again?
42:56 what's worst was the sega genesis oops i'm sorry....MEGADRIVE, with the sound chip played in some games, it made some games have voice samples that are super distorted and some sound effects and music have SOME EARRAPE AUDIO AND SOUND EFFECTS. i'm looking at you sonic spinball with your options menu theme, and i didn't forget you either Ultimate Qix with your etcher sketcher sound effects
I ate some honey comb! That didn't happen!
49:16 - There’s actually a longer version, but both versions get (and yes, this is my score), an 11/10.
I love spinach!
where can i find that first do it all commercial
could u react to the Hornby Model railways ads?
24:56 and a couple of months later pp music is a thing
Some People Must Be On Crack while doing theses commercials well at least DVD And VHS Commercials Arnt Messed up
22:31 was that Mr.Enter? No problem if it was
And it's better than the UK McDonald's toy! Like why won't they have the same toy in the happy meal
Happy Birthday mate
Can we suggest more ads man cause I’ve got one
Well my mom don't complain about the rice Krispies that sound like air bubble
