Oh, yeah. All those kids would’ve hoped Starfall Racers was about tutoring, only to be tricked into riding a roller coaster. Fiendish.
Some people mentioned negative comments from AJ. I actually don’t mind. We need the real thing from the people who are on the sites every day! If things are not what they should be, we need to know. We pay a lot of money for these vacations. We need to be prepared. Going on a Disney cruise at the beginning of July and then headed for four days in the parks. Thanks AJ and your team for all the good work!
The thing about Japan is the PEOPLE are calm and make the experience in Disney SO much better than any other park. Many go to just hang out and get pics and walk around. They don't push and act rabid. Plus things are a reasonable cost.

I bet if we paid at WDW what they pay to go to Tokyo Disney, and you didn’t basically get to ride a ride only once, if at all during your visit, even with Genie+, the vibe would be more chill here too.
@@sha2596nah, the cultural differences are major. There’s a level of respect and order between guests there that you don’t see in the US and Europe parks, even the China parks.

Disney had a chance to take Splash Mountains contriversy and turn the new ride into something special that might calm things down. From what I see and most reviews and comments, The imagineers at Disney have a lot of work to do in the future. Disney can and needs to do better. Your job is to enteretain and peek our imaginations. Go back to Walts vision and roots and bring the Disney back that we all miss. It costs so much and is so complicated to have a vacation anymore. Its like prepating for a marithon rather than a place to reolax.
Tokyo Disney Sea was probably chill because all the kids and teens over here are sitting their finals right now, so anyone with a kid will be focused on that.

The POV for the ride is already online. It's very underwhelming. So much empty space in the ride and the story is practically nonexistent. Don't know why they didn't just tell the story from the movie.

Tbh, I can't have PatF without him. I had a whole comment on how the ride could've been "improved" for those who sought more thrills and story, but it's on another vid...I'll have to go find it. xD

@familyoftacticaldroids309 So much wasted potential. They really should have drawn from the movie instead of doing what we ended up with. The big drop should have been Dr Facilier getting dragged to the underworld while "are you ready" was playing. The part of the ride where you are underground could have featured Tiana and Neveen in their frog forms at the swamp. Ray the firefly could have made an appearance. The ride literally writes itself.
Tiana is running the same as Slash did. They didn't build a new ride, so the same problems! Same ol' same there.
We just got back from disneyworld and won't be going back. Saw all the crowds at Tianas on Tuesday they wouldn't even let us walk past it. . Had to go around to get to big thunder. Stay up till 12 to get genie and then get up before 7 for guardians is not my idea of a good time or a vacation. It's a shame Disney used to be so fun.
Honestly I really hate to say this but I’m getting so much ick from Disneys focused media and how they are handling paying guests vs “invited guests” these days. If you want to have a media event, close the park early and have it after hours or before park open and do the do. Stop roping off the park we all paid to visit to have influencers use the spaces we paid to be in to take photos! It just screams that we know where their loyalties lie, and it’s not with the people paying to be there.
My son loves POFQ, so i promised him we could stay there for a week next year, but i told him no parks and I’m not renewing my AP. That will likely be my last stay on Disney property.
I never stay up until 12 to get Genie, I just buy it when waking up shortly before 7 am when you can make your first selection. It won’t sell out by the time you’re up in the morning
Sooooo beige! Disney is setting itself up for the next refurb! The new rooms at the Polynesian Tower, Fort Wilderness cabins and more - so deadly monotone and boring to look at! The vinyl plank look flooring, painted surfaces in grays and light tans, and turquoise touches look more like a Florida condo than a tropical hideaway or wilderness cabin! These rooms will be as identifiable for this time as the avocado and burnt orange decor of the 1970s!
I love DFB and AJ but please look up how to pronounce the word "Bahamian." It's slightly different than the word "Bahamas."

I feel like this is the most negativity I’ve ever heard from a DFB update. Hope it’s just the time change. Usually super excited after listening; now I’m like 🤷🏻♀️
I’m actually kinda glad they were negative here. Negative often gets lotted in with criticism, which as someone who does love Disney and the Parks, they NEED to be criticized for a lotta the stuff they’re doing. This just shows to me AJ and the crew are actually level with Disney much as they love it too.

I watched a POV on the Tracker Family and thought it looked really good . I’m looking forward to riding it. I did see some comments that his video was better than Disney’s for the ride.
