Otters in the Fluviarium of Liérganes (Cantabria - Spain)

Come to the Fluviarium in Liérganes, Cantabria (Spain), and meet the inquisitive otters as well as the rest of the fauna that inhabits the river basin of the Eastern and Pasiega Cantabrian Mountains.
The Fluviarium was built by the Fundación Naturaleza y Hombre and it is a reference spot for the conservation and dissemination of the natural and ethnographic values of this area.
The animals come from different locations and previous captive situations. They can no longer live in the wilderness. At the Fluviarium they all have a fundamental role in environmental education, especially with schools. We receive more than 3000 students per year in organized visits, as well as lots of people who come independently.
