    This part "built-in Ubuntu firewall (ufw)" meant me subscribe to your channel! I've created tens of instance some work others fail due to port inaccessibility and I had no Idea how to solve it but today that problem has come to an end, thanks Sir

    One thing -
    you really shouldn't use Firewall commands in AWS terminal people
    you may not enter afterwards as it only inbounds 8080 port

      it already blocked anyone from entering by Terminal
      terminate that Instance, make a new one... just donot touch those firewall access now. You can do it afterwards from inbound security section

    For me, for some reason after I updated the rules and enabled the Ubuntu Firewall, my SSH access got revoked from the instance and I had to create another one.

    I have Jenkins running on Ubuntu hosted on AWS. I can access the setup wizard; the problem I am having occurs after entering my admin password then proceeding to install the suggested plugins. I get an unable to connect to Jenkins message. Please, I need help on how to resolve this issue. I have spent hours trying to get this resolved by following suggested solutions but to no avail.       Even I faced this issue. I restarted the jenkins server and make sure you have stable internet connection. This helped me to fix the issue

      That is expected behaviour for few minutes. If the issue persists, please change the instance type

      Check the jenkins official site once and see if the package is supported. This video is approx 1 year old and things might have changed

    I lauched an ec2 instance and installed jenkins,that came out good but when i lauched another instance the next day,i copy pasted the public ip in the google,page is not loading .My doubt is sholud i install jenkins evry single time i lauch a new instance?

    This is a normal installation, what do u if install jenkins using docker, because there are already image jenkins in docker, instead this classical installation ?? reason of this question is to check the best practice

    What about if we stop the jenkins server and then starts after few days which changes the public ip and then… where should we change in configuration files of jenkins with new public ip address

      Change the IP address in the Route 53 configuration. Other solution: if you don’t want your public IP to change, add an EIP (pay extra).

      Hi Eswartej.
      To do this you will have to update jenkins file in /etc/default/jenkins file and in there you will have to modify HTTP_PORT=8082 under JENKINS_ARGS section and restart Jenkins by running “sudo service restart jenkins“.
      This should work. Let me know if it work. Else we can discuss over a google meet.

    Hi sir, I have runned my ubuntu instance in local machine command prompt. At first all the commands used to work and instance also be connected,after the jenkins pages shows in the browser the connection between ubuntu instance and command prompt shows port 22 connection refused. Please get it solve to me .

      If you are using AWS EC2 please check your EC2 Instance security group has inbound port 22 open

      I have done same as it is what you have shown, but you have done in the ec2 instance i have done in my local system command prompt. After opening the jenkins admin page it was disconnected and tried connecting but it shows refused connection. Port 22 was also open.
