Honestly Dunc is just a bit of an idiot. He’s pretty good at creative stuff, and he has his entertaining moments, but his plays and reasoning are almost always a bit shit.

It's the editing separating out each conversation, not their ears, you would do no better if you were playing with up to 8 people speaking at once.

This is a classic horror movie trope. And can be found in most slasher films. The reason is that it builds suspense. And totally not because most slasher villains wear face masks that limit their field of vision and a full run in that could be really dangerous.
I believe the writers explained it by the fact Jason like dug a bunch of secret tunnels or something

What if a traitor death linked himself to the old jester then revealed that if they killed him, the jester would win. Which would they prefer, jester or traitor win.
I think they'd instantly kill the jester xD Well, i guess it depends on who is in the game at that moment. Tom (angor) would instantly kill the jester if he was innocent, for example, no question :D
