- Every bride longs for a sunshine on her wedding day. There's little concern about rain and sunny skies provide the perfect backdrop for photos. No wonder why lots of brides choose the summer months for weddings. Today's wedding card is both simple and classy. I'll be teaching you how to create a veil using the Stampin' Up! tulle ribbon and pearls. I also share how to customize a wedding card so that it coordinates with the wedding color scheme.
I'm using the Wonderful Moments stamp set to create today's wedding card. This same stamp set was the focus of my free card kit for July's Stamps in the Mail. If you aren't familiar with Stamps in the Mail, head over HERE to take a peek. I provide the free pre-cut supplies to make 8 cards, a video and PDF tutorial so you can stamp along with me from home. I'd sure love to have you join us for the free card kit for August!
Cutting Dimensions for this wedding card:
Basic Black cardstock base is cut 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" and folded
Thick Whisper White cardstock image layer is cut 3 1/4" x 3 3/4"
Whisper White cardstock layer is cut 3 1/2" x 4"
I used 5" of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle to create the veil
Create a beautiful tulle and pearl veil using the Wonderful Moments stamp set and accessories from Stampin' Up!. Pictures, cutting dimensions and supplies are posted here: wp.me/p94Qnb-5zs

Very nice. Glad I'm subscribed to your channel!
You're sweet! Thank you for subscribing and so glad you liked the card.
That veil is too cool. This stamp is not my style, but if it was, I’d definitely CAS this card. (Not my style, so guess who got Beautiful You as prize patrol at that onstage, and never uses it.)
Lynnette! I love Beautiful You and that's what convinced me to get this set as well. I love the sketched art. It's different and elegant. Maybe I can convince you to break it out and use it :D Thanks for watching!
ABeautiful Card thank you for the demo! I do not have a contact for supplies or catalog.
I'm so glad you like the card, Linda. I just commented above about the catalog and how you can order. Please email me at rcurcio3@verizon.net if you'd like a catalog.
I like both cards but favor the nonblack bow card. Think I'd like a blue bow if the bridesmades had blue dresses, etc. I'm not crazy abt balck at the wedding unless it's the male attire. Think that's the old fashioned way. Lol.
What was the Blending color you used for her skin please? Is there a combo for that??? :)
Hi Sue! Thanks for your feedback. It's so helpful to hear what people like favor. I used the Ivory Stampin' Blends for the flesh tone. It's a single alcohol-based marker which you can find here: www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/144606/ivory-stampin-blends-marker?dbwsdemoid=16275 You can't beat the price ($4.50) and the quality of the color it provides. There's also one in Bronze for darker skin tones as well.
Would like to place order ASAP thank you
Hi Linda! I'd be happy to send you a catalog. Can you email me your mailing address to rcurcio3@verizon.net, please. You didn't say what the veil material was....?
My apologies, Angie. You are absolutely correct. I re-watched the video and failed to mention that. I used the Stampin' Up! Whisper White Tulle Ribbon. I have a link in the description of this video that goes directly to my blog post with a list of the supplies and cutting dimensions for you as well. Thank you for watching.
