Brief Applause: Creating Brass at Conn-Selmer

When you think of manufacturing in Northeast Ohio, steel and rubber probably come to mind. For over a century, though, another kind of metal work has been taking place in our own backyard that's brought enjoyment to millions all over the world. I remember when it was still C.G. Conn , and Selmer's and they were two competing companies in Elkhart .

Regardless of what Instrument, Brand and Model you purchase, PLEASE purchase something OTHER than a China made junker. There is nothing that compares to the quality of an American or European gem.

I have Pbone designed by Conn-Selmer. slide is carbonfiber... manufactured in china.

I have owned 2 pBones. I believe the slide is fiberglass and not carbon fiber. DaCarbo and Butler make carbon fiber trombones. Cost way more than a pBone.
