That Chase Branch was formerly Home Savings and Loan. Every branch had beautiful murals on the front depicting scenes from a bygone era of the city or area they were located in. Home Savings built very ornate offices throughout Southern California. Chase bought them out in the 1990's or so and at least they kept the works of art and murals intact.
That’s right Chase did buy Home Savings banks. I do remember the murals and ornate buildings during the mid 1970’s growing up in LA County.

Another fabulous vlog. The mosaic on the Chase Bank was amazing. Made me want to go in and open a bank account just to have an excuse to go in. When you focused on the Bette Davis figure I saw Errol Flynn's name. He was my favorite silver screen idol. Wouldn't mind seeing the moon thru his port hole. Also noticed you walked by the Montalban Theatre. Just saw that they do April film screenings on the roof. Rooftop Cinema Club.
