I love the crackpot in the rooming house who's writing his book about The Evils of the Machine Age. Ten years later, he'd be one of the regular callers to the Art Bell radio show.

The closed captioning is all done automatically so it beats me why some have it and others don't.
You almost have to check it on the editing page . CZcams is very random sometimes. A few of my stories had Spanish closed captioning. But you can change it .. Thank you again 👍🏼
There are only 318 radio episodes, per Wikipedia and Michael Hayde's book "My name's Friday". This one has the same plot at radio episode #197, which was broadcast 3/29/53. There was a TV episode by this title on 10/29/53. Hayde has the same plot. Wikipedia says it's about the murder of an actress.

Kinda feel for the guy. Insurance companies rip people off all the time, and that’s legal...this guy...it was a one-off, and for a kind of a sweet reason. The store was insured, sounds like. Hope he got the minimum of a year, and they didn’t tell his friends. He wouldn’t do it again. Thanks for these, it’s nice to have the radio version:)
