What's brutal about this is even if you got a new device, that old calendar event could re-establish itself when you synchronized your iCloud data.
basically a rootkit đ
@@mk96437 no, worse.
@@mk96437 lmao
Oh shit didnât think about that
b b b but icloud is safer than my hard drive. Apple told me so.
I dont care if single or multiple - your videos are the source of cyber-news for me and i watch em whole. Thank you and cheers!
Cheers!
@@Seytonic simple way to prevent this delete the calendar app lol
Single topic videos are fine, but depending on how much there is to report on multiple topics would be preferred. This channel is a source of quality content either way
Thanks my dude, I appreciate you watching : )
I mean when its to do with computers you can do a single topic video on losts of hacking and programming stuff. There's a lot of funny stories or weird things involved usually
@@Seytonic I thought there were going to be more topics but I ended up without realizing watching the entire video on the topic of Quadream. Thanks for making cool videos!
I prefer multiple topics in one video, but if it's hurting your channel based on your watchtime/analytics, you should continue as you are now, with single topic videos.
Plan to keep watching you regardless. I really appreciate this type of news and your continued effort. âĄ
Thanks :)
â@@Seytonic or what could instead be done is add the main keyword(s) of the 3 topics separated by a slash or something
@@drishalballaney6590 it doesnt look good or I say it would be too long title
same
absolutley
I personally love the single topic format way more as it allows me to get more invested into one thing and letting it be more fleshed makes that even better, even if you return to 3 segments i still love this channelâs nevertheless and will continue watching
I also prefer single topic videos too. It makes planning what I'm going to watch easier.
Yeah I'm sure they're "shutting down" and not just starting a new company to refresh their track record.
single or multiple topics, the content is always top tier. Glad I found you man!
I like the multiple topic videos as well as the single. Either way it's always worth the time to watch.
I love both single and multiple topic videos, do whatever you think its best :D
i prefer multiple topics as this channel is my primary source and this allows me to find out more about whats going on but its understandable if you prefer doing one topic for better video stats.
^
I always watch your videos in their entirety whenever one pops up. I will continue to do so!
i like the idea of single topic videos. I think it'd also be a great idea to follow-up on loose ends for stories you've covered in the past
regarding the end of the video, literally post whatever you want youâre one of the only creators i watch to the end and youtubeâs algorithm puts your video at the top for me as soon as you upload đ love ur stuff keep it going
Love your content, always interesting to see the way cyber security is evolving
About time. Calendar has always been a problem with exploits, though not ground breaking, still very annoying with the spams. Definitely wouldâve had a back door somewhere for major invaders.
I like a bit of both! The update of multiple topics weekly is a nice catchup to whats going on, but the single topics are more of a headliner in depth. I must say though, I prefer the multis to just inform of the general topic briefly then the viewer can look more indepth on a topic elsewhere.
I liked general news all-in-one blurb format style, but I think for reference purposes the single topic videos are far superior. Either way, I watch quality content no matter what, and you are certainly among the best. Do whatever you need to do to ensure the preservation and future success of your channel. Your reporting is invaluable for busy people. Regards.
Love all your uploads, I watch all three topics usually. I'd love for longer videos and deep dives into topics you find interesting
I prefer the multiple topic videos for the broad coverage, but I do enjoy when you go in depth on a single topic.
Have missed your videos man as always love the content...always do the most interesting topics man great way to get the day going in my bookđŻ
I think I preferred the multiple topic videos but I also believe single topic videos would be beneficial to you and likely the viewers overall. So I say, go for it! I will watch and support you either way
I like the multi-topic videos, but I'll continue to watch no matter what you choose to do!
The new format sounds good to me!
Thatâs why those pop ups always went the calendar
Ahh of course they want you to think they've shut down. ;-)
I'm always excited when you drop a new video, and maybe that's in part because they don't come as often as from other channels. However you choose, I believe I'll still be as excited as usual!
no bs straight to the point, even commercial is brief and some might actually find em usefull
love the content, prefer lenghtier vids, but understandably, more and more people finds it hard to focus on one thing more than 5-6mins, so its not about other topics not being mention on title, just people cant focus
just an idea⊠you can keep the 1 topic format, but make it a bit more concise so that you can generate a weekly playlist which goes through the topics in one go by the end of the week. if thereâs more than 1 topic that day, that is also fine but you can make a separate video so it gets listed in a playlist as a separate item. longer form videos can have its own category.
I watch the whole thing every time. Such interesting news with clear explanations I can't get anywhere else. Thank you for the videos! Regardless of how many topics I love em!
Do what ever you think is best. Love your vids... they make warming up to the bad news a little easier each week... lol
I prefer the multi topic ones, it's nice to sit down and just have one video which gets me up to date with some cyber security news
The single topic format really works well I feel
I like the three topic videos but itâs entirely up to you. Great content either way
I do enjoy the multiple topic videos more, as for me they're like a newscast on Cybersecurity topics (one that's well informed on the topics, as well). Still watching either way, and again, if you start a Patreon, I'd gladly join. Although that might not be the type of growth direction you're looking for, I understand how that might become unappealing. Best regards either way!
As long as I get an update from CZcams - I donât care - watchin all of them đ„
I prefer single topic videos. It makes me more eager to see Seytonic in my notifications.
Single topic or three, no difference, I am always listening every video to the end, good content you push out, kudos to you âïž
I once kept getting weird ads on the calendar app. Now this explains it.
I love these kinds of videos!
Several topics in a video was always interesting, feels like 1 topic ones are cut too short. But if you post 3 single topic videos instead, we definitely wonât mindđ
This
Just watch 3 videos. Whatâs so hard?
@@NinjaRunningWild Nothing, just prefer the single videos that give a brief overview of multiple topics rather than super in depth on one, 3 videos on the topics that are all fleshed out is also good!
I wonder if these firms will reopen shop in a country with less attention.
I like the single topic idea!
My preference is multiple, but mostly because you have a fast-paced format that supports them. For single topics, I'd like to see more background and information slowed down. Otherwise, though, can it be made certain that these companies actually shut down versus simply making a public statement and operating in private? Surely there's still a market -- albeit smaller -- even with blocks.
I really like the three topic structure, but i dont mind having single, more detailed, topic videos from time to time
Been encountering this malware in the wild for months
I like the one topic clips for a little more details. I also like the multi-topic ones as some stories really might not need 10m to talk about đ
So thatâs why there is a notification that asked you to add something on your calendar when you visited some questionable sites.
âDo you want calendar to access calendar?â Is now an actual notification people could get.
This is why I use a paper calendar/planner.
Well, i prefered multiple topic than single topic because that's why i always watch this channel
thank you for the video
Great video
I personally prefer multi-topic videos as I get more information out of one upload but I do realize the significant upsides to single-topic videos - I don't mind either way and will be watching! PS: I think youre doing a fantastic job with the titles and thumbnails, you always manage to get my attention and make me notice your videos on the home page
ye i totally believe they "closed for good" .. these ppl's claims are not to be trusted ever
I'd prefer single topics. Works best for sharing.
pretty incredible that most of the times its the simplest things that are vulnerable actually that makes sense as these are standard programs
i liked three or more topics in one video it gives more information and save time to research
i found this out about 5yrs ago. couldnât figure out where the problem was đ€Šđ»ââïž
VASTLY prefer the single topic videos. Feels less clickbaity, and this isn't a clickbait channel.
I was really waiting for that "allegedly"
i'm always waiting for your new video bro, keep it up
why no one/government going to judge such groups creating spayware of mass-surveillance??
Almost 30k views in just 9h, that's awesome. You have almost reached 400k subs. It was not that long ago where your channel had only a small fan base. Congrats for the success. Keep it upđ
I don't care if single or multiple. Your videos are awesome nonetheless. The quality of the content is the same, that's the most important.
I had a few calendar hacks attempted on my iPhone from random sites over the last few years, quite annoying
I will watch Seytonic videos regardless as he produces quality content
I love thĂ© idea of single topic videos just make sure you elaborate on them similar to this and if youâre posting single topics maybe look for more topics like the recent alphabay situation
So basically, they just killed a company, but not the service. Nothing has changed.
Good video
I always watch all the way through
The hell is up with all the NPCâs? The video is a smash bro, great job lol
I much prefer multiple topics, i usually watch them all the way through
No it effects his income
I think it depends. If how have three different related news, then having all in one video is great just as you have been doing... But if it requires you showing an in depth way in which an attack works, then consider a single video to properly show and explain.
But your videos are amazing and I am learning from you đ
Calendar app hack has existed atleast 2years and I can confirm it has happened to me twice lol
You can also put the main topic later in the video so people watch the others first
I like how this guy leaves the sponsor to the end.
I think that capabilities like this shouldn't be in anyone's hands, so that they were regulated out of business is definitely good. I just wish software companies would get their shit together and not leave vulnerabilities in software in the first place. It sounds like it's one of those things that's impossible, but it's not. Programmers just need to be taught how to actually program, because there's plenty of good code out there written by good programmers, but in a large system, the weakest link is the strongest that the chain can be.
To be honest, I enjoyed the 3 topic videos more. Maybe you could change the titles/thumbnails so that they describe all topics or put the most interesting topic last to increase viewtime. Amazing channel nevertheless
Single or multiple topics is all the same to me, Iâll watch either way mate
It should be an hanging offence to create software and sell it in order to violate the privacy of another citizen.
Does deleting the Calendar remove their access?
Would anyone know if, becouse of this, since some weeks backdated calender invites are no longer recieved by others ?
Fun Fact these companies need money so if they can't sell to as many customers and are losing money they will sell on the black market
Itâs an awesome idea
I would love shorter format videos of around 3min for individual topics. There's just so much information going through my eyeballs each day so I have to pick and choose which is the most important. Seeing that a video is only 3min or less prompts a click almost 100% of the time.
Becaus their business model is they function as a commercial APT group more than a formal business!
Du bist dran !!
i enjoy the 3 topics
Perhaps mixing up single- and multi-topic videos could work, say perhaps a weekly multi-topic video going over the highlights and then some single-topic ones on occasion to cover incidents where you feel a proper run-through is merited
video idea: Pentagon leaks...it's pretty obvious to cover that for a cybersecurity enthusiast
Isn't it illegal for a company not to disclose details regarding data breaches and aren't they required to disclose to what extent their users accounts have been exfiltrated?
Iâm on board for single topics if it allows you to properly flesh the topic out
Thanks for your feedback Chloe :)
Even Czech Republic? Shit, even we are not safe!
So much pressure to keep your iPhone on the newest, slowest, most bloated version of iOS, yet these vulnerabilities do not work on old versions from many years ago
wait. why do calendar invites still happen?
Oh wow no wonder ADs always redirect to the Calendar app with some random subscriptions. Im curious if many are infected or if itâs just a niche virus.
Can we sew those companies on a global and public scale?
Funny coincidence: I had calendar uninstalled for the longest time
Your videos are so interesting that I don't even care about the title and thumb. But for new viewers I totally understand the reasoning.
Either single or multiple topic videos are fine. Use your best judgment, perhaps make multiple topic videos on shorter headlines that donât require as much depth and the opposite on more in-depth topics. You could even mix it up.
Oh 100% I be trolling the hackers tho hahahaha
