Let's just be honest here for a second: Sigmas are simply incapable of maintaining relationships - or marriage. A long-term relationship/marriage is a VERY costly BUSINESS, and it DOES require LOTS of compromises. And nobody tell me otherwise: I'm 54 and have been in two long term relationships - 11.5 years and 20 years - already. I know what I'm talking about. What I've learned in those relationships is that I've loved, and loved deeply, and especially in the second relationship was also loved back very deeply - but the Sigma personality traits just make it impossible to stay in such a setting forever. It's true: Love just isn't enough, simply because on the long run it isn't even about love anymore, the Sigma soul ALWAYS yearns for what it hasn't seen or experienced yet.
I dont hit everyone of these but i hit so many that i must be one. My father told me i was the hardest kid he ever raised because no punishment ever affected me. My wife left after 33 yrs and i was truley happy again. THAT makes me sort-of sad.
Maybe your father shouldn't have been punishing you. He should have been interacting with you in a manner in which you didn't "misbehave" and warrant punishment. Adults that fight with children (and enjoy it) are deranged.
@reubenmorris487 so sorry I uesd the word punish when discipline would be more accurate. This wasnt/isn't about my father but rather about me. My father was an only child and mostly raised by his mother. His father was always there but was a "man of God" so very busy. I was the outlier out of 4 children. I always wondered why I was soooo fiersly independant and once I discovered the sigma personality things became clearer. Now that I'm old and really don't care, I at least have answers to questions I never really asked but others did. Thanks.
Your description perfectly fits me. My wife left me with child 3 years ago and now I want to be alone. It is really hard to have any other relationship or even friends. I stay alone most of the time.
Nowadays we have the 6 month talking phase, (not exaggerating). That should tell you everything about how the whole relationship dynamic ia gonna be like. Talking from experience.
For instance I work at the MSP Minneapolis Airport one thing I can't stand is last minute people that will take forever to get ready especially if you're not Clear PreCheck or both when I travel by myself I like to be checked in atleast & through security atleast 3 hours before my flight plus I just recently got precheck it's the people that live in the twin cities metro area that be doing that late last minute stuff but the ones who live far out the twin cities are the ones that are on time.

They are like sigmas but fall in the socio hierarchy pyramid. Im not saying hes not a sigma though. Just mentioning zetas because theres a possibility but we dont know until he says what he is.
