Taling Chan station level crossing, Bangkok, Thailand

Train coming from Hua Lamphong heading on the Southern line towards Sungai Kolok near the borders of Thailand and Malaysia where the trains going to and from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore cross the border. Another border town where trains and road traffic also cross over to Malaysia is Padang Besar. The signalman inside the signal box told me what time the train is going to pass over the manually controlled cable style crossing. Usually Taling Chan station is a Token block signalling but today due to nearby road construction the movements of the trains are controlled by radio instead so the Tokens [Train hoop up orders] are not exchange until the construction is completed. The locomotive is a 8FA-36C (HID) manufactured by Hitachi. The time that the train pass the crossing is around 16:45.
