Terrible tax policy. Most people make around 55k to 80k and with rising inflation it is unmanageable to live comfortably on this salary. This policy will not make any difference

It may reduce inflation to some extent. No impact on lower income grp definitely but high income will save more money. Roi of home and business loan is currently high. So people will pay off liability.now banks are too borrowing money from reserve Bank and public. So they need money to lend. FDR and saving deposit interest rate will go up. Also people who will pay off loan will have increased monthly saving due to reduction in emi expenses. But because of fear of again increase in loan interest and depression in job market people will be driven to keep money in account. Now bank has more money to lend which bank need to let out as they pay interest and salary and operational expenses. So they will reduce the loan interest. This phenomenon will not happen just overnight but will reduce inflation. One more thing to add when bank borrow from reserve Bank they pay interest so they will also reduce their borrowing by paying there debt. So now reserve Bank has more money. Money will be sucked out from market economy and purchasing power will be reduced. People will stop investing. Rate of commodities will come down due to reduce demand and increase supply.Slowing after reduction in loan roi people will regain strength to again investment. Thats a cyclic phenomenon. I don't know m right or not but I hope this way it may effect.
Also due to high tax people are demotivated to work more. So less income grp people will reapply for high paying jobs as well. I think
