Aside from the romance and the exciting backstory, I think one thing that I really like about this drama is the message behind it. It will teach you to choose your own path. At the end of the episode, Eunwoo chose his own path and he didn't choose it out of love, out of power, out of glory; he chose it due to his own will and he knew it's what will make him happy. He could have use his title to attain power but he didn't because he knew it's not the path that he likes. Even to haeryeong, he let her choose the path that she likes and didn't force her in a life she didn't want. And I think that a powerful message.

A combination of respect and adoration( in the midst of nervousness notwithstanding the presence of the crew around them; that’s hard but he executed it well; I guess, he knows she trusted him greatly ) a loving kiss with passion but not overdone; he was tender enough to still exude his character’s great longing for her character.

One of the best kdramas i watched.
This drama is light, sweet and fun to watch. There is no second lead syndrome also, tragic or extreme dramas between every characters. Story line is perfect and interesting with surprising twists yet strong and meaningful.
Talking about characters and roles, everyone is fit in their character. For instance, prince dowon Yi Rim is innocent, free-spirited, silly, extremely kind but smart which cha eun woo portrayed very well he showed his versatility here indeed a great actor he is.
whereas, Goo Hae Ryung is smart, intelligent, strong-willed, rebellious, brave but kind and comprehensive which shin se kyung is perfectly fitted in this role as her top notch acting did it once more. Overall, everyone like king, grandmother, father, officers, historians specially eunuch also did well. So, i like every characters and their development.
prince dowon and goo hae ryung's interactions and moments makes your heart flutter. Even though there is less romance, their sweet gestures and sweet moments will be just enough. Their relationship is humble and moreover there is no toxic relationship. Lastly, eun woo smile melts you and stops your breath for once lol. Also, soundtracks are very beautiful.
So, I highly recommend all of you to watch this drama. To me it is 10 out of 10.

J C haha neither. I came to know Eun Woo from this drama actually and I’m not into kpop. I just like watching korean and Chinese dramas. I watch too many of them. I liked this one very much because the girl was very relatable to. She is smart, realistic ambitious. But when she is at fault, she does not become crazy argumentative as girls in other dramas. Not sure how to express it, but usually Asian dramas make the girls stupid, silly, low iq and always need the guy to save the day. The female character in this romcom was very fresh compared to others in other drama. It does not have be a perfect drama for someone to like it very much. Its what u take from it. I hope more girls will be like this in drams as such character is more relatable than other silly girls we see in other drama. That’s why I liked it very much and getting to know Eun Woo is a plus. He did good as the sheltered romantic prince.
