Indeed! Why not? Flash mob does it all the time. You’re in a supermarket fruit and veg section and suddenly the “staff” in supermarket uniform burst into song…
Pleasant??!!! Are you insane?!! It was amazing! Outstanding! Saying it was ‘pleasant’ is nowhere near sufficient praise - if anything, that’s insulting! I will give you a pass if English is not your first language and you aren’t sure of an appropriate adjective - but ‘pleasant’, in this case, certainly is not enough. Sorry.
I recognized him. He's the guy who sang "Figaro" in a restaurant that you posted about 2 months ago. And the piano player in that video is also you. How wonderful
Listening to this brought back happy memories of the grandfather. He had "alternate" words for many pieces of music, including this. His words for Toreador started with "Toreador-a, Don't spit on the flor-a. Use the cuspidore-a. Wadda ya think its for-a". He died over 52 years ago, and I cannot remember the rest, but he had the whole thing memorized.
I've got a big stupid, happy grin on my face :) There's nothing like the power and grandness of an operatic voice singing such a catchy tune as Toreador! Obviously the whole setup/premise is a tad ridiculous, but like a magic act, the trickery is all in good fun and part of the act. I love the audience reactions. Keep it up! I love the other vid with Florian as well! Amazing!
@@tabo01 my mother sang with a small opera company in central Florida. Our Christmas tradition was listening to an album by Mario Lanza of Christmas carols!
Reminds me: How many opera singers does it take to change a lightbulb? Only one. He stands there & the whole world revolves around him! ...Not at all without merit! Well done! 😁
It happened to me once at Sundy House Restaurant in Delray Beach. Dinner on the terrace, sun just about to set. Suddenly right behind me I heard the most glorious opera voice, a young man, behind me. No accompaniment, but goosebump lovely and romantic.
Second time Florian Sempey has appeared in Julien Cohen's videos! This is so great! I love his voice! I was introduced to his voice through this channel. Thank you, Julien!
Love these videos! Obviously pre-planned, but what JOY you bring to those who unexpectedly get to experience these impromptu performances. Bravo! Encore! Encore!
Smile in my Face, Tears in my Eyes, Heart warmed up... Beatiful. That is how i call "Music Connects People". Also the Bag in the End Died of this Masterpiece.
Amazing. My husband gets aggravated but after 47 years, he just follows. When I hear music it draws me like a magnet. Live music, I can feel it before I can hear it, I KNOW it's not a recording and I have to find it, see who can do this miraculous thing. I wish I could've been at this.
Un moment magnifique, hors du temps . 3 artistes de grand talent font vibrer tout un public . Je suis heureux que CARMEN soit apprécié en ANGLETERRE !!!!!
I love how that clarinet popped out like a secret weapon. 😊 Just an unassuming little briefcase then BAM, Pan has joined the chat! Great mini flashmob, guys.
Its so beautiful, to see these great musicians and singers share their talent like that, my eyes wet from the happy moments they just give you as a gift.Thank you!!!
Wish I could play like you impromptu… maybe next life. But thank you for making that little corner of the world a little friendlier and cozier. Maybe those present would understand that this is the kind of journey we should have on our passage through this world instead of all that hate, killings and destructions… hopefully the loving feeling would spread from that corner you brought together ❤
When you see this, you know that music reunite People of every kind .It does not matter what relignon or race you are. Beautiful to see and to listen to
@@drewtheunspoken3988 That's true! Very old tradition of busking in the subways. I just love the idea of pianos in random malls and restaurants where real artists break out in opera! I'd hang out at the mall for that!!
C'est top, ça me donne tellement envie d'apprendre un instrument... Bravo. Mais y'a une brune j'ai l'impression que ca fait plusieurs fois qu on la voit, une qui chante
This opera singer has been filmed in a Parisian eatery singing he has a magnificent voice and is as I understand it a working opera singer. I believe this pianist was playing the piano on that occasion tool
Oh, yes. This was totally spontaneous, even to the point of the "stranger" initiating the entire concert. I totally believe. Even so, how come this never happens in the airports when I pass through.
Man wow just wow I am so shocked by their skill that I don't understand which words should I choose to appreciate them! U guys just totally nailed it. Hats off to you and I pray from God that u may succeed in connecting more people with music in future. P.S- I am a big fan of urs! Love and best wishes from India.😇
These videos are great and funny, but I'd love to see you guys doing more songs like at least 3 or even 4. It's a lot of work, but videos above 10 minutes help you getting paid for the great performances as well.
Oh that was friggin great!. When I was in high school, the opera association still used our theater for productions. The light cage was so old, Lon Cheney had used it when he was young, still lived in Colorado Springs and worked for the Opera Association. I had his old job and we did Carmen. Wonderful!
Fantastic. One of the best aspects of humanity's collective human heart. And I was already middle-aged when these geniuses were born, so new faith in the young to handle the future.
M. Sempey has excellent control to not blow out everyone standing close to him. I love hen musicians do this. There need to be more opportunities for it.
Im one of those who dont give a single care whether it was staged or not, it was pleasant. enjoying it superbly.
I totally agree. It brought tears to my eyes because it was so beautiful.
Of course it is staged. How ridiculous to claim otherwise. Why not just admit it and enjoy.
I love the look of shock on the faces when Florian joined in.

Hard not to see how everything is totally set up
Agreed. Why faking it. It’s beautiful on its own, no need for the the clickbait.
Yeah, really tired of these staged videos...
.😅
Exactly!!
BRAVO! As a musician, not much gives me goosebumps anymore but this did. Planned or not, well done.
Fantastic. Thank you
The last bit got me too. Amazing
Wonderful! And note how the singer, Florian Sempey, is filling the space with his voice without any microphone at all.
The guy has a set of pipes.
C’est ça un bon chanteur …
And a bag 😅@@andreafox9137
Opera singers will do that.
Kind of the reason for the opera style. They had to fill the big halls way before any of the mics.

I sang it the same as a kid, but last line was
That's what it's for-a.
Don't know where it came from
My dad used to sing it like your grandfather.
Legacy lives on, thanks! 👍🙏😎
My grandmother too. Great memories.
How wonderful ❤
Love it! Toast to the three musicians who made the whole world stand still and listen to the superb performance. Cheers!
Wow what a voice Thsnks to everyone who participated ,So uplifting 👏👏👏👏👏

So great! Thank you!
Amazing singer. Amazing talent all the way around.
Music is food for the soul and should be celebrated everywhere! Thank you all.
That girl who approached the piano player at the start, is absolutely stunning ! Such a gorgeous smile, and those eyes ! 😍
Even though it's staged, I don't care. This is still positive and great content to most of the stuff online these days. ❤
Better than the dreck on broadcast media!
All the videos are staged, what a shame that a creator who is trained to play well has to resort to creating fake videos 😮
How do you know it is staged?
It seems that you do care when you comment that you don't. If you didn't care, you wouldn't mention it.
How do you know it's staged? It looks genuine to me, but I'm certainly willing to hear evidence.
Beautiful! Wonderful! Bravo!
I don't care about any of anyone's FREAKING drama about anything about this, it was BEAUTIFUL!!!
That voice must have boomed through every part of the airport. Bravo!!
Wow you made me cry, so touching!

TY! 👍😃👍
Amazing how many opera singers and musicians who just happen to show up, over and over again.
