I will never get over my daughter dying. I know she is with Jesus and I will see her again. I am still grieving. I think what makes it harder for me to get through this is because my so called Christian family basically days after she passed told me to shut up when I cried. They all left me and went out to dinner shopping like nothing ever happened. The insensitivity from family is devastating. My mom told me a little after a month that I should be over it and moving on. You should be so thankful that your family came up to be with you. I don’t know if I will ever be the same ever. I am blessed to have Gods Word He says that he puts the lonely into families. Please Jesus I started a new church please guide and direct me show me where you want me to be what church can I call home. And I know something to help others will come out of this. I love you Danielle you are forever in my heart.

Honey, the people that are around you are not healthy for you. You need to be with you that love you. I can tell you our beautiful boy passed away on June 12, 2024 our boy was diagnosed with mental illness when he was 13 1/2 years old it was a hard time for almost 7 years, but honestly the pain trying to work through his mental illness with our son does not compare to the pain of losing him. I know we will NEVER be over our loss of losing our precious son! Michael never was helped in the mental health system and he found short term relief in doing Percocet laced with manufactured fentanyl! My son didn’t want to die but being 19 years old he didn’t understand how dangerous those drugs were! My son had narcan with him though he could not administer it to him self. He just went to sleep pain free and never woke up. Don’t allow anyone to get over it I know parents never do, we just walk through the rest of our lives trying to survive another day with our hearts broken.
33 years since our Tony passed away with similar circumstances. He died just after coming home from a Bible study where he was searching for God in his life. Today and everyday I realize how loving and caring our God is. After this many years and many times since I have sat and wept over our loss but more tears of joy knowing about the awesome God we serve and some day I will be reunited with my Tony. Thank you God and your humble servants Ed And Lisa Young.
I was sitting on our couch with my 15 year old son reading Genesis 27 about Isaac and Mount Moriah on Dec 16 2010...10:30am. 2 hours later he was in Heaven with his best friend Jesus. No warning. I feel the shock with you. The pain is searing. God will be more tangible now than ever before in your life. It's crazy and unexplainable at times. Our children lived out their destiny for the Kingdom while they were here.

When I returned to church last January, Ed and Lisa came and told this story. It was perfect for me. I had been away from church the past five years because I became my moms caregiver.I slept in the same room with her, and like Ed, I heard a noise like a seizure had happened I turnd on the light and she was gone. Their story really helped me, and I have drawn closer to the Lord than I thought was imaginable. God is perfect. I thank him for Godly parents that laid a solid foundation for me, and he gave me the best mom I could ever ask for. ❤
I feel that so many of us are coming closer together through pain, loss & the love, hope & joy of being secure in the Blood of Jesus.

I’m going through something with one of my kids right now. It’s stressful and I’m having a hard time talking to her. I know I should let it go and just tell her I love her because nothing’s promised to us. I met with someone today who recently lost his son. He told me that he could never imagine living longer than his kids and that I should never take having healthy kids for granted and said to hug my kids and tell them I love them everyday. That was today. I’m still struggling with this, but then I come home and my wife had this on our TV. God’s talking to me and I’m listening. I’m so sorry for any parent who loses a child. I can’t imagine. God bless this family.

Lord be with this couple in their time of mourning for their daughter Lea Beth. Let your holy spirit hover over them when they get weak wrap them up and comfort them and give them strength and understanding that you have so that they may find comfort knowing you are there.

Don't you wonder how she kept it so secret. I mean we're good, but she would have had to be really, really good because she was around people all the time. I wonder how many times she reaked of alcohol and nobody said a thing.
@@Skipbo000 Me, wonder? Keep in mind, you are asking another chronic alcoholic (recovered 21yrs). Alcoholics are extremely quick in mastering all the "tricks of the trade". In truth, we were skilled self preservationist, common chameleons, artists of deception, masters of manipulation, apprentices to the father of lies and emotional/mental/spiritual con artists, . Although to the 10th power, you could liken our desperation to not be "found out" to the deceptive skills of an unfaithful married person who hides a mistress and their child for years...meaning, we will go to ANY length to maintain our addiction.

We understand so we'll. We lost our oldest son July 2, 2018 to an accidental overdose. God has carried us and continues to daily. The memories and the lost future memories are hard. I cannot tell you how many times our story has helped others. God uses our suffering and it helps to feel like something good can come from it. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds and casting DOWN IMAGINATIONS and EVERY HIGH THING that exalts itself against the knowledge of CHRIST!

2. PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST OVER YOURSELF, YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR ENTIRE BLOODLINE!!!

I am weeping with you as I empathize with your loss and with the vulnerability of depression. I want to encourage you with a truth that man has not revealed to me, but the Holy Spirit: the testimony of redemption and hope that is being shared from your daughter’s death (really, of her life) will bring many, many people to Jesus, and through THOSE people’s testimony, exponentially more.

I have 3 son's. My oldest is 42 and an alcoholic, my 2 nd son is 40 and hooked on meth, my 3rd son fights depression and has had history of drinking, but seems ok now. None want anything to do with Jesus. There father a real hypocrite and myself badly wounded emotionally and spiritually. I started walking with God again and have been praying for my son's. My oldest too has had alcoholic seizures and still drinking and on Kepra for seizures. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your daughter is in heaven. I pray for my son's too. My 2nd son has been homeless for 5 years. If you could I would so appreciate your prayers.

I'm watching it take a lot of my friends due to suicide and substances, not the flu. I'm unemployed and I've lost hope in humanity. There is no freedom or joy in my life. This is why we, as the human race, need to be kind and compassionate to one another and especially those of us who profess Christ as Savior and Lord, because if we all sat down and had a real raw truthful conversation with one another, we would discover we're more alike than not. We all have struggles and experience life challenges, expected and unexpected, that may not be the same but still hurts, still painful and suffer all the same! Wow..I don’t know how I got here…just finished Life Christchurch feed ( we r in lockdown) we had a similar experience as my son
Never got over the Christchurch earthquakes and ended up drinking to sleep. We lived in Melbourne and didn’t understand what was going on.
We came home and looked after him for some years ….in the end got him a apartment and we new he would die if he didn’t stop. He died same way.
20 months later the pain has abated somewhat as we truly believe God does things in His time..we just celebrate the time we had him and thank God for the gift of him. God changed us during the time we looked after him….a lesson for us in tolerance.
We now realise mourning is about us…God is looking after him..he is Free of pain and suffering. Take heart it will take time God will look after your daughter and you guys too….love and blessings our prayers are with you🙏❤️🙏

This touched my heart...I lost my son 2 years ago due to a mosquito bite. He was 48 and very healthy. The blessing...the last words we spoke were to our Lord together. My daughter has experienced some of what Lee Beth experienced before her death. I pray for all going through this with a loved one. I pray for all to make ..good choices led by the Holy Spirit.
We lost our 33 year old Daughter in 2010 in a bad car wreck she had a drinking alcohol addiction we still are grieving we know Cathy is with Jesus, she was a Christian and detacated her life to Christ, she had depression, we know we actually know. We are praying for you all and your family and your congregation. Choices we will never know the why, we do lean on the Promises of God.
Dont ever doubt yourself you did all you could do.

I am praying your strength, and that your faith doesn't fail you. You have been so honest and it took so much courage to share this. My son passed 2 years ago March 3rd is his anniversary, he was shot. We ask why? I teach the word as well...but as time goes on the Lord will reveal more as your heart gets stronger...he will heal this trauma...I promise but joy and sadness walk side by side..this will change you and you will be different from how on..but he will bring supernatural peace. I lost my 38 year old daughter to alcoholism in 2018. She is also with Yeshua. We will see our beautiful daughters again. Lisa is exactly right to say it is not our time here, it is about our time in eternity.
I had to listen to this twice. My heart breaks for you. The loss of a child has to be the most painful experience in life. Your daughter was blessed to have you for her parents, and LeeBeth was such a blessing to you and so many others during her short time on earth. As much as you love her, God loves her (and you) more. As a mother who lost her only son at 14 years of age, my heart goes out to these two parents.
I also would think at times, why? He suffered for so long with his disability from birth, then dies from pneumonia? But you know what? God is in control, and I can honestly say with great belief, God was watching out for her, you dedicated her to him, and her time here on earth was done. He took her home to be with him! We never understand God's timing, and that's ok. But I can relate to Lisa's feelings she is having! If you know God, there is a peace he gives you at these times that is beyond what any human can understand. And I experienced that peace also when my son was dying and when he died. Yes I mourned, and cried, but there was a peace inside my heart that only God could provide.
She's in heaven, and so is my son! I rejoice and can't wait to see my boy! We love our children and want to protect and help them, but only God can do the best for us all! It was her time, he wanted her with him. God bless you two! I pray that God's peace continues to comfort you! Prayers for you both! 🙏

I’m so sorry for your loss. I can hear the pain in your voice. I cannot even imagine. I have an uncle who is an alcoholic and I’m afraid this is going to kill him eventually. His will be a slow death. It’s heart breaking. Thank you for sharing your story. I know God will use this testimony. Lee Beth is finally healed in Jesus name in his presence. ❤️

I was saved at South Biscayne Church, North Port in 2007. I thank God for Pastor Cross leading me to Jesus Christ. I too lost my third son, Jon, at age 25 due to an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. My heartfelt sympathy for the earthly loss of your daughter but because of this, I believe you will become a compassionate more real man of God. God is good all the time. I too know my Jon is with Him and Abba Father has given me that hope and faith. Praise His Name!!!

I can say i feel your pain. On February 17 2021 i found my 33 year old son dead. He was under constant attack from satan. He turned to drugs in his depression and sorrow.
I am so sorry for your loss! My brother took his own life in 2008, so I know the shock and pain.

You are such a testimony to everyone who hears this . Alcohol killed my mother and I wonder why the husband she had the children she has was never enough for her. So sad so young.
My Lord and my God!! Thank you for sharing!! I too have a son hand picked by my Father to be with Him in all eternity and my beautiful husband was just called to join him in the celestial promise. I find peace in my Father and when my cross knocks me down I think of JESUS as he fell on His walk to Calvary. He too felt as if He could no more yet by the power of the Holy Spirit I can and I do get up again. Let us continue to pray for each other and keep our focus on our Merciful Father. Amen!!
