A thing I've noticed that I've never seen any Myst LPer or Strategy guide mention: while the general theme of Sirrus's rooms are opulence, decadence, greed whereas Achenar's are generally brutality and bloodlust, there is another commonality between Achenar's rooms in Channelwood, Stoneship, and Mechanical Ages: All of Achenar's rooms have some sort of holographic device. There's the Skullflower in Stoneship, the Fortress Sim in Mechanical, and the altar message here. Is it because Achenar just had the better knack for holography? No idea.
Around :34, it almost sounds like he' s saying "Sirrus". Maybe he's warning his followers about Sirrus? I think if you watch Sirrus' message on the big imager, it's slightly different.
@mentalleevoid loved that show!! Some of Brain's plans were rubbish, i'm sure he once planned to take over the world simply by stealing a priceless painting :-p!!
@QUANTUMJOKER I know the endings (assume they are the same as the non-masterpiece version). I just want to know if the last page by itself will still count as "book finished". I cannot test it until scummvm gets far enough to run Myst.
Here's a continuity error I noticed. There is little sense that Sirrus or Achenar are speaking to us, so we can assume that Sirrus doesn't know that we're also bringing back pages for Achenar. If that's so, then why does Sirrus state that the final blue page in the fireplace would finish Achenar's book? Since he doesn't know that we're giving pages to Achenar, why would Sirrus be worried? He'd think it's just another blue page. You see?
@QUANTUMJOKER Would that page finish the book even without any previous page put in it? Does the game just counts the number of pages or do you only need this last one to complete a book? Never tried that actually....
Well considering he was ready to kill his brother and invide the mind of his sister just to learn how to write a book... I always went for Achenar first...

If you're still wondering, it's "Rush Limbaugh understands"
I strongly suspect their accusations of each other are part of a ploy to get at least one of them out of their prison ages...

Pinky and the Brain reference FTW.
Sirrus would make the perfect Brain, especially after Spire.

Such a long journey is nearly concluded...and both parties involved seem to be different types of psychopaths
He's completely Sirrus.
So, what- Sirrus and AcheNARF?

@stuehleruecker
I shouldn't say what happens, as I don't want to spoil the bad endings.

@QUANTUMJOKER he probably just meant that those pages were meant to be the last so their
job is to finish the book assuming you have the other pages.

Does he?
i don't know!
Who knows? Maybe Rush Limbaugh was alive in 1806. He certainly acts like a crazy racist prospector.
What the heck is the hidden message anyway? I tried and listen several times but I can't hear it properly.
thanks :)
Too much static Cyan!
Who needs audio CDs to read books to us when the book itself can tell us the story? :P
