I completely agree although one question about the "24x7x365" part: wouldn't it really be "24x7x52" since you have hours in a day x days in a week x and then in yours it would be days in a year but in this one it would be weeks in a year? Just a thought, not trying to be rude of anything it's just something I noticed but maybe that's just our brains working differently

I did a twelve hour readathon and had a blast. Finished two books. I definitely recommend (like you did for this one) picking different genre/style books. It makes it easier for them not to blur together as they’re apt to do when you read them fast.
TheBirdofInferno I took the week of Christmas to have a 24/7 read athon and read the entire throne of glass series because I just got my copy of Kingdom of Ash and had to read the rest of the series because I was way behind

How long were the books?
Katheryn One I had already started (House of Hades, the fourth Heroes of Olympus book) but I read about 100 pages of it. The other was the Crimes of Grindelwald screenplay which is around 250 pages.

herondale Jesse does a great job editing and filming, but sometimes he can ruin the aesthetic by putting a filter on it that’s a border (or some other distraction) and it just ruins it for me. However, over all his videos are great

Ive often done the bi-annual 24 hour readathon and because of where I live, it starts at 2 in the afternoon for me. And this is literally my best tip, Ive always really enjoyed this start time and I think it makes it easier to stay awake because you dont have to stay up until midnight to even begin. If I had to do my own, I think I would do it from noon to noon or something like that, so it wouldn’t mess with ones sleep too much. And definitely breaks, walks outside, food(!) and shorter books. 📚😊

I also listen to the audiobook while reading the physical book (I listen to my audiobooks at 2x-2.5x speed.)

I find it really interesting how you jumped between books during your readathon--I feel like that's not really done much, but I really like the concept (that sounded like a drag at first and I'm sorry I promise it's not lmao). I always feel like reading is too much work when I FORCE myself to do it, and then I just get pulled out of the story and like my attention span shortens a LOT.

I am superrrrr late but when I saw White Rose, I KNEW I had to say something. It's based on a true story, for those of you who didn't know. I believe TED does a pretty good video on it. :)
I've been really wanting to do a readathon, but every time I have a few days of doing nothing I don't feel like reading all that much lol. Also for a really good audiobook/ebook app I highly suggest Libby! You download it and put in your library card information then you can see the audiobooks available and download them for 21 days for free or place audiobooks you want to read on hold and they'll download once it's your turn. Sometimes you have to wait like up to 20 weeks because a lot of people want to listen to it. But I've listened to a lot of my now favorite books for free from that app I'm always listening to an audiobook. Love libby so much! Highly recommend it!
What I perdonally find An amazing Place to read is the zoo! I have my small unpopular spots and in the winter I can sit in the Bird building with some soup or tea

Dude I totally get you when it comes to feeling the pressure with readathons. I definitely feel the pressure, but on the flipside, I read so much more BECAUSE of the pressure. So... deal with the pressure for the sake of my TBR I guess? LOL
I tell everyone to use Overdrive or Libby for library audiobooks. If your library participates, you just need your library card and you are only limited to the selection of books available, and sometimes the wait times. I can recommend audiobooks and have been lucky to get some new releases on the release day, or be the first person to have recommended it so I get it without a hold period. Audible is great if you like to own your audiobooks, or want to buy an audiobook version of the kindle ebook you already own.

loved the editing style in this video!! i've done a few 24-hour-readathons and my recommendation would be to start at 8 pm and go until 8 pm the next day.
i like going outside to have a walk and listen to an audiobook. having a change of scenery is important i think to keep you sane during a 24h readathon

As for Tokyo Ghoul re: , Honestly, I really recommend it. I absolutely loved the first installment, but tbh I almost like re: more. Not because the original wasn't good, or uninteresting for me but just because there's something more to re: that wasn't there in the original series. I'm not sure what it is but either way I highly recommend it if you like Kaneki. It might be confusing at first, but that's sort of the point, it'll get there and when it does OH BOY.
