What sound project did you download from Digitrax? I’m trying to do the same installation but it looks like the project I used is bigger than the space in the decoder. I’m new at this so I could be wrong. Thanks
Yes. They all come pre-loaded with sound. However certain decoders can be programmed with different sounds from the Digitrax website. www.digitrax.com/sound-depot/
seems like it's fairly loud and clear. Does the steam sound as good as the desil? Steam is harder to get right. I am looking for inexpensive sound for some desil and steam engines, I dont need them to sound as good as bli, just decent. Ill save the high end decoders for swapping out the poor quality controlled crap from BLI or Excessivley stubborn (and sometimes impossible to program) mth decoders.
They are decent. The sound quality is ok. If you have a Digitrax PR3 or PR4 programmer. You can download and install different steam or diesel files from digitrax.
Just installed one of these in an Athearn MP15AC. Talk about a tight fit. Sheesh!
I bet. I think with a little patients, you could put one of these in just about anything.
