Bliss! In 1993 I was living in a condemned farmhouse in Snowdonia with a bunch of fellow climbers. After a good day in the hills we would drop a heroic dose of shrooms, roll a fat one, crack open a 2 litre bottle of special Red Cider, get the backgammon board out and put this in the VHS. Happy Days!

Thank you for ripping this, whoever did it (Abstructure?). I created the fractals and some of the other graphics in the Dr Devious videos, and I had just got around to digitising this myself when I came across this copy. It's better than the one I have been able to make. You may notice that the music for the closing credits is quite different to the rest of the video. It's a track called Up in My Head and it was written by Guru Josh and Daz Jamieson, and it was the original soundtrack to the video and was much longer than the five minutes salvaged here. How and why it got squeezed out and replaced by the Cyberdream soundtrack, I never figured out. I always thought it was much better.

Wow I was mesmerized by this video when watching it on MTV Party Zone when I was about 10 or 11. Well done on your work. You know my dad actually ended up being a bit of a pioneer at the subject of fractals, worked out some formula or something or other to do with them, he was always constantly drawing them, tinkering them, working out these formulas and shit when I was a kid I remember, then did something big in the field of them, don't know what exactly, need to ask him again. I don't really know what fractals are to be honest with you. repeating infinite patterns or something it looks like?

Went back there last year to go to some music event at the Victoria warehouse and it's totally changed, no students in Fallowfield anymore. Pandoras still there and thriving though which was nice to see :)

@@whistlingpuddle.4983 Orange Grove was the best bar which I went tomost, stupid that's gone. One day it went fucking nuts in there for some reason, massive fight, where literally 50 pint glasses were being thrown all at the same time from every angle, I stepped out the toilet just as it erupted. Not seen anything like t. Loads of ppl bleeding and shit. Someone bleeding lying on my leather jacket which I casually took away from under whoever it was and left the place quickly. Yes, too much crime everywhere. I'm from Croydon which is bad.
Music-wise all my friends were actually into rock music and laughed at my taste when I met them through my best mate, thinking it was all proper shit. I ended up getting into all that stuff as well by the time I went university due to over-exposure and stopped with the dance scene. I eventually discovered all these better bands whilst at university though and have now surpassed all of them with my taste and knowledge. Listen to this for example. Proper next lvl, done by cut/pasting tape and looping and stuff with no computers, just hard work.. czcams.com/video/uXoTuSCi87E/video.html
I did used to bedroom dj in my early teens, drum and bass, happy hardcore and I was talented. Could do scratching extremely well for eg. Dunno if you know the dubstep pioneer 'Benga' But he lived at the end of my road and his older brothers Debo and Deji basically came round to my house to mc whilst I would dj the tunes, making mix tapes together. Benga only about 6 at the time, with this massive afro, looked well funny. But his brothers obviously would've been playing these mixtapes and getting Benga into the scene at an early age, so you can possibly say that I'm partially responsible for the creation of dubstep lol. Still love all the old school music I listened to, but I swear I'm done with music, gone as far down the rabbit hole that one can go with it. 'Can were possibly the greatest, most important band of all. Discover their early albums if you getting bored of everything. Cheers!

This video created by Paul Walden (R.I.P.) using basic fractal generator and 3D animation demos of the Commodore Amiga computer. I think you can find this stuff and more in better quality. This is a VHS rip that I made and it was quite complicated to bypass the sync disruption that has been embedded on that tape and digitize it.

You missed it! ... This video is a fantastic experience when viewed using the enclosed rainbow-prism specs included in the original packaging. ... they are like 3D glasses but are simple prismatic specs like they sell to kids... ... the Computer graphic artistry is on par with its age... but the technical achievement is really in his creation of graphics that compliment the prismatic glasses... making your standard 4:3 TV image look like a wall-sized display when you wear those specs... the many pulsing rings and star-bursts in the video are choregraphed so as to make the wall-sized image an almost continuous image... totally fascinating to watch! ... So... give that video another chance and THIS TIME, darken the room (or watch at night in a darkened room) and wear your prismatic rainbow specs. I was totally amazed at the light show!

This VHS and follow-up VHS release wasn't produced for a 3D view and NEVER came with 3D glasses (maybe the lazer disc edition did). The later Dr Devious releases has 'em.
