Mumbai's most famous Pudlawala | 50 Years old shop in Mumbai | Indian Street Food

- Lala Fast Food, popularly known as Mohanbhai Pudlawala is one of the most iconic places in Mumbai. The shop was started in 1968 in Zaveri Bazar, by Mohanbhai. He started out with a small stall where he made pudlas - a Gujarati snack made of besan and topped with vegetables. Today, he runs a runs a shop at the same spot with his son serving new variety of the pudla - with grated cheese, toasted bread and tomatoes. Pudlas are served with generous amount of pudina, imli and garlic chutney making it taste even better.

It's at Marine Lines. If u get down at Marine lines Station .. this 3rd Aagyari lane commonly called as Dawa Bazar is very famous.hardly 5nins walkable from Marine station. N ooff you take a cab from anywhere in Mumbai this lane is famous n any taxi driver will drop u on the spot. This lane has name names one is called Dawa bazar bec all homeopathic medicines are found in this lane.. 2nd it's called Zaveri bazar.. all jewellers shop n 3rd it's called Aagyari lane bec very ancient Parsi Temple is at the corner of signal of Zaveri Bazar.

After viewing these type of videos from Korea, Taiwan, Thailand; the one thing they had in common was- CLEANLINESS! The first thing I see is fried batter all over the cooking surface- and the surrounding area.
