What we are losing...is the future foundation as developmental players. The mercenary mentality does have short term gain, but questionable long term returns. I will feel much better when I actually see someone from 2025 commit. Losing Adam Hopkins today was a massive loss.

Then they made him a DB and now he is gone. I would have loved to see that first class stay and build in CU. I believe he and O Miller were close friends. I just saw Alton leave this week. Anyyyyything seems possible now with the portal. I hope this has no impact on Miller deciding to stay.

You can’t build a program dependent upon the portal. CU is a team built of players that weren’t good enough to make it at bigger programs.
