Mummy Moon you are quickly becoming one of my favorite people ever! Your respect for all animals, humans and things that are older is beyond admirable. I too am an old soul and surround myself with objects given to me by relatives that have passed on or that were loved by others. I have tried to instill this love of antiquities in my 4 children. Old values and “old things” are quickly going the way of the Dodo here in the US. Everything has become disposable. Your vlog and way that you and Nick are raising your children give me hope and makes me feel like my husband and I are not alone in this big world. Thank you!
I just gave my husband a bear that I saved from my children…Can you believe he is 74 years old and this is his first bear.. ❤. You are very special and I enjoyed your vlog❤

It’s so uplifting watching how dedicated and caring you are. How you love your animals and family is how we love ours! Their love is so special and enrich our lives beyond belief sometimes!! I love your bears too and every time you talk about enjoying your clocks ticking & chiming while working on them, I imagine your baby finding this his calming and happy place, falling asleep to the ticking sounds in this magical room with you, & your Nan’s beautiful bear!!
In 2 weeks I will be 65 years old, and I still have my very young childhood teddy. At the moment he's in storage but I'm not exactly sure where. He's either in the cedar chest or in a box with other precious things. Once my life stabilizes he will have his place back on my bedroom bookshelf. Now I really want to go dig through boxes, but I'll restrain myself knowing he's safe. I celebrate 12 days starting on Solstice, too! Your family truly is magick.

Just beautiful Jennie. That was such a lovely tribute to your Nan. Dorian is one of the most handsome bears I've seen, he's meant to be with you, and keep Nan close isn't he? My grandmothers both past many years ago, but I still feel them around me, just little things, special to them. I also had my last child at 40. It was definitely different from the first child. Anyway, he is now 22 yrs old and has always been a joy. I think I was a lot more relaxed with him. Best Wishes with your new baby..

It is fun to see you restore these sweet Teddies ... I was going on 38 when we had our last child. My husband was in his forties! This is going to be such fun for you all and the boys. Another great video as you preserve a precious bear. I actually think your 12-days of Christmas is a wonderful idea. I wish I had thought of that when my three sons were young. Some of my most treasured items are ones my grandmother gave me when I got married. Enjoy the sweet memories of your Nan. Many blessings!

What a amazing time for you your family are learning such beautiful things not like modern children i love it you are such an inspiration i would love to do that for christmas but we don’t have children but we do have traditions that we do that have been carried on from y childhood xxx

I had a bear made from my Mother's fir stole snd I made one from my Dad's bathrobe which he only wore on Christmas morning. Since my Dad always stashed a few "extra" cookies in his pocket from s restaurent buffet, I made a "cookie pocket" from the robe's plaid lapels. These treasured bears live alternate years between my sister and myself.

Great you have memories of grandparents mine ended at less then two ,my brother will never know them and dad's parents died many years ago not having long retirements ,still lots of aunts and uncles dad being one of 13!But not a close family some near by but others overseas for ever.
I have the same bear, my mum bought it for me years ago. Mum passed a few months ago so Dorian has been moved from the guest room to the lounge. Sending hugs. Xx
