Depending on whether the players have a relationship whereby they know each other is motivated by adversity, this move was either classy or classless by Mr. James.
He was making an inside joke he, Arenas, and Jones were friends. They would play cards and bet against each other. Jones owed money to Arenas and every time Jones would be on the fllor Arenas would defend him and the the landlord's here. Meaning he needed to pay up so going over and saying you're going home was in reference to that as well. Thats also why Jones was specifically the guy to shoot the shot, not James. Jones hadn't made a 3 pt shot in 2 games but they subbed him in and made the shot. This was all said in an interview by Arenas.
