As someone who just finished final year med I totally feel your pain! Those last few months after intern job matches had been sent out completely lacked motivation! On the other hand, learned a lot of useful stuff for work next year, and in my experience they started to treat us like real members of the team at this stage as opposed to just watching from the sidelines. I do get the feels of wanting to go home early and just leave once evals are done though, especially since we only get 2 weeks of annual leave next year apart from Christmas!

Good job! When I first saw the title, I thought it would be from the point-of-view of a patient that wants the medical team to honor their "do not resuscitate" order.
Once at my job I got criticized when I've been standing for five hours without a break. This customer deiced they want a bag at the last minute and it takes two seconds to get one and they say, "I don't have all day." Then don't get bag a bring your own and I'm sorry have you been standing for five hours? I don't think so.
