excuse me, im currently studing for an exam.
in oceanic island we can find 4 series that happears 1 after an other, (i'm just a student, correct me if i'm wrong):
alkaline serie of pre-shield building phase
tholeitic serie, which form 97% of all the shield building phase.
alakine serie of post-shield building phase
super-alkaine serie the last and not always occuring.
Finally my question is, do we find the super-alkaline serie on these island? if yes can you explain me why if is not a drag of a question😅😅😅?
if you prefere, i just need to know if they are there just to be sure, im studing intraplate vulcanism and i need to know some different product to take to the exam, i'm not finding that much on the internet, I appriciate you so much for this video because you explaned it so well, thank you
superalkaline series (alkaline rejuvenation) is present on the older island of e.g. Gran Canaria, but not amongst the historical eruptioions on Tenerefe. Tenerife is not yet in the alkaline rejuvenation stage.
